In sporadic instances, the Internet cannot keep up with the pace of our in-house auction. Placing a realistic absentee bid prior to the start of the auction will ensure that you bid on those items you most desire. IT IS AT THE AUCTIONEER'S DISCRETION TO ACCEPT OR REJECT AN INTERNET BID. In addition, the auctioneer may reopen a lot after the close of an Internet bid and may reject your bid even if you are designated as the winning bidder. This is very rare but because of the pace of bidding, it is sometimes unavoidable. By bidding via the Internet, you agree that the lot may be awarded to another bidder at the sole discretion of Coastal Edge Auction Emporium, LLC under these circumstances or any other reasonable circumstances. Internet bids are not available to us until the lot is opened on the floor. Frequently, the floor responds before an Internet bid is accepted. Please understand that floor bids are always considered first over identical Internet bids.

Your bid is a contract. Once you become the winning bidder you must make payment arrangements for your purchase. Failure to make such arrangements within 10 days of the Auction will cause you to become liable for legal action by CEAE, LLC and you will lose your rights to the lots you bid on. Purchaser pays buyer's premium plus shipping charges in addition to total purchase price.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the volatile nature of the precious metals market, coins considered 'market sensitive' will be repriced the business day before the auction.

Numismatics and currency: Grading of raw rare coins and paper money is subjective. We grade coins using current grading standards. We do not guarantee coins will be graded the same by some of the grading services. We will NOT accept returns of raw coins and paper money for this reason. We guarantee all coins to be genuine, except as otherwise expressly stated in the Description section of an individual lot. Coastal Edge Auction Emporium, LLC makes no warranties or guarantees or representations as to any numismatic properties. CEAE, LLC does not represent that a numismatic item has or has not been cleaned, that toning is natural or artificial, that any coin catalogued will meet the standards, or the grade, of any third party or third party grading service.

RETURN POLICY: All items are sold "as-is". If our description of an item is materially mis-described, we will accept return of the item. However, we MUST HAVE NOTIFICATION OF RETURN WITHIN FIVE BUSINESS DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF ITEM BY BIDDER, as shown by FEDEX or USPS tracking data, and the item must be received by us within ten days. Otherwise, all items purchased at auction are final sale and no returns will be accepted under any other circumstances. Return shipping is at the bidders expense.

Payments made by Check and MO will be held 10 business days before items are shipped out. If your invoice is $1,000 or more, we will require a bank wire or check as payment.

Invoices under $1,000 you can use the online payment service powered by WePay, Inc. ("WePay"), the payment service that Invaluable.com uses. Your use of the WePay payment service (the "Payment Service") is solely governed by WePay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy located at www.wepay.com/legal (collectively, the "WePay Terms"). All transactions, using the Payment Service or otherwise, remain subject to the applicable terms and conditions herein (including the refund policies posted therein). If you use the Payment Service, you will be required to provide information regarding your credit card or other payment instrument. You represent and warrant to Coastal Edge Auction Emporium, LLC that such information is true and that you are authorized to use the payment instrument. You will promptly update your account information with any changes (for example, a change in your billing address or credit card expiration date) that may occur. You agree to pay Coastal Edge Auction Emporium, LLC the amount that is specified for the item(s) you are purchasing in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions herein. If after four (4) business days you fail to pay for the items you win in full, Coastal Edge Auction Emporium reserves the right to charge your credit card on file for the entire amount due (including the hammer price, buyer's premium, all applicable taxes and other charges).

In the event you file a chargeback with your credit card facility to reverse or invalidate a processed payment, Coastal Edge Auction Emporium, LLC and WePay have the right to contest any such chargeback in accordance with the WePay Terms. We and/or WePay may request necessary information from you to contest the chargeback. If the chargeback is contested successfully, your payment will be released to WePay. If a chargeback dispute is resolved in your favor, you will recover the chargeback amount through your credit card facility.
