IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE, READ THIS!
This is a timed closing auction. Not every item ends exactly at 7:00pm on 12/14. Starting at 7:00pm, the first 2 lots will start to close. At 7:01 lots the next 2 lots will start to close. At 7:02 2 more lots will start to close and so on until all lots have closed out at about 9:00pm, 2 hours after the auction first started to close. If you or anybody else bids within the final 2 minutes of the close on any given lot, the bidding will automatically extend for another 2 minutes to allow other bidders to place a counter bid. This will continue until there is no further bidding activity within a 2 minute time frame. This is by design and that's what makes it a true auction. If you want to be the successful high bidder then you have to be the person who is willing to bid the highest; it's not possible to "snipe" the bid. If you have any questions at all, please call me, I'm happy to explain it. As regards this specific auction, the vast majority of items have condition issues, are incomplete or don't work as designed, If you need specifics, please call.
Bidding Tips When you click on the bid bar, (and then click again to "confirm bid") you are placing a bid for the next automatic increment. If you click on the down arrow on the right side of the bar you can select from Bid A Specific Amount which will automatically jump the bid from its current price to whatever amount you enter, or you can choose Create Maxbid which will let the computer automatically place your bids for you up to but not past the amount you enter. Make sure you pay attention to which bidding option you choose. 99% of the time you want to place a Maxbid.

If you have questions, ASK!

Chelsea Mantel Clock
This makes me want to cry. At some point, somebody, and I'd like to think it wasn't Bill, painted the mahogany case gold and glued pool table felt over the rest of it. I'm thankful that whoever it was didn't also have access to elbow macaroni and rainbow glitter.
Hands down, this is one of the finer mantle clocks to be found. The Chelsea movement strikes a cathedral gong on the hour. The strike side works but the clock is not running. The back plate is removed for inspection but present. The cylindrical case is very heavy brass.

108
Chelsea and M. Low clock parts & dials.
The M. Low brass 24 hour dial is a good one. The 8" in the foreground has been converted to quartz. The 6 inch has a movement but it's missing the platform escapement. There's also an odd movement but also missing the escapement. Other Chelsea parts as shown.

109

254
And now..... It's Miller Time LAST ITEM - End of auction!
When you pull the lever on the left the hammer strikes the gong which initiates the electronic sounds of a firetruck with bells and siren. This would get old in about 2 minutes. Not a lighted sign.

And now..... It's Miller Time LAST ITEM - End of auction!
When you pull the lever on the left the hammer strikes the gong which initiates the electronic sounds of a firetruck with bells and siren. This would get old in about 2 minutes. Not a lighted sign. I didn't try the clock but it's a simple batt op quartz movement that can be easily replaced if need be.
