Before buying on-site, online or at any Mountain City Realty & Auction, LLC (MCR&A) sale, you must read and accept the Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully.
SALE DATE/TIME: Going on now! Will start to close on Thursday 20th, at 7PM.
Preview : Saturday January 15th 1-5 PM
You attend of your own accord, and neither the seller or auction company will be responsible for accidents. We are not child proof and urge you keep this in mind when considering bringing small children. No pets.
Any information supplied by any employee or agent of MCR&A, in any form whatsoever, is intended solely as general guidance and an effort to be helpful and courteous to our customers. Such information should not be relied upon when making a buying decision. REMEMBER: We represent the seller.
MCR&A offers no guarantees or warranties-expressed or implied of any nature whatsoever as it relates to the lots offered at any of our sales. Should there be any remaining manufacturers warranty, it is up to you as the buyer to obtain satisfaction from the manufacturer. Each and every lot at MCR&A is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS". Where there is an opportunity to preview a sale, we strongly encourage you to attend the preview. Regardless, it is up to the buyer to determine the value and condition of each item, even if there is not a preview offered or you failed to attend. Feel free to see one of our associates if you need additional information on a particular item. Ultimately, it is up to the buyer to determine the condition before you buy. Once you buy, you are committed. There are no refunds.
Important Disclosure:
We are Estate Sellers, not authenticators. We do our best to describe as best we can, based on our research, education and overall market experience. It is ultimately up to you, the buyer to determine what you are buying and how it may be used and how much you should pay for it.
Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless MCR&A and its clients, consignors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, officers, directors and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of or relating to any claim or action based upon your use of internet bidding or live auctions or other sales or your otherwise breach of this agreement.

As previously mentioned, all property sold "AS IS-WHERE IS" and neither MCR&A nor the Consignor(s) makes any representation of warranty, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability, fitness, or condition of the property or as to the correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or period of the property or any use or repurpose of a particular item. No reference to imperfections is made in the catalog descriptions or verbally by the MCR&A. Since all sales are final, MCR&A will make no refunds, and will not allow charge-backs from your bank cards. Please carefully review the descriptions, then verify the information to your satisfaction before you buy.
Payment: Cash, pre-approved checks drawn on a Virginia bank or most bank cards. 15% buyer's premium, reduced to 10% if you pay cash.
No Shipping:
We do not ship. Period. If you require shipping, there are numerous carriers for you to contact and make arrangements. A simple internet search will result in numerous qualified shippers. If you do hire a shipper, you must make sure that shipping agent can be at the pick-up site at the appointed time. If arrangements cannot be made, please do not buy an item. If you need insurance, that also will between you and your shipping agent. MCR&A recommends that you contact your personal/business insurance carrier and notify them of your purchase(s). MCR&A will bear no responsibility for any mishaps or loss due to shipping, fire, theft or any reason whatsoever natural or man-made. Additionally, we cannot and will not be held responsible for system failures due to the internet, world wide web, or any software or computer hardware.
Taxes:
We sell locally. We work from Roanoke County, Virginia USA. We collect 5.3% percent sales tax to all buyers. If you are a merchant, farmer or otherwise sales tax exempt, it is your responsibility to furnish us with the proper Virginia state forms. Otherwise, we will collect the sales tax.
FIREARMS: Virginia law now requires background on checks on firearms. We are not a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealer. Therefore, we must hand-off your firearm purchase to a FFL dealer for your pickup. We still must collect for you purchases before the weapons are handed off to a FFL dealer. We will give you the necessary information about arranging for you to pick up your gun purchases. The FFL dealer will charge you to do the background check. As a courtesy, the FFL will not charge for an antique or other weapons not requiring a background check. You must be 18 years of age for a long gun and 21 for a handgun. We follow all other state and federal laws. Remember… WE DO NOT SHIP. If you require shipping, that will be between you and the local FFL dealer.
