Description: Lot of quantity 2 Oracle/Sun StorageTek SL3000 tape libraries plus quantity 15 HP modular tape drives. Per the UW Department of Genome Sciences: "The SL3000s are empty except for some controllers, front panel, and storage media cells. The LTO drives are in working order with SL3000 trays, though not all drives have intact calibration barcodes. The libraries are free of user data." "SL3000s were working until the day they were decommissioned but no longer have power supplies, some electronic modules, and robotics, and end caps. LTO drives were likewise working until [decommissioned], but all had seen heavy use. None of the equipment has support contracts." Equipment is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Buyer is solely responsible for pick-up, packaging, and removal.
