Originally built in 1910 by a local storekeeper, this historic and iconic two-story home has graced Meridian Avenue in Dade City for well over the span of 100 years. In 1919, the home was purchased by a doctor who would later became the founder of a well-known local hospital. It was also once home to a local circuit court judge. Owned for the past 35 years by a longtime FL legislator/state representative and his wife, it’s brimming with antiques and decor that will appeal to both gentlemen and ladies alike. Brimming with sportsman’s collectibles, taxidermy, even a genuine zebra rug, as well as hunting and gentlemen’s decor, tobacco memorabilia, turn of the century trunks, leather furniture, vintage luggage, and even large fine oil paintings to match. There’s even two highly desirable and original FL Highwaymen paintings, for the serious collectors! When it comes to the ladies, there’s also an abundance of beautiful and appealing decor throughout the home. Everything from balmy Casablanca style artwork and tropical wicker furniture, to unique floor lamps, antique dinnerware and fine China, as well as fine linens and elegant decor throughout.
