Vintage 1910 Hamburg Steinway B - Serial No. 142994.

The info below was compiled and determined by Steinway Hall. (Orig. copy of the valuation is available)

This particular Hamburg Grand Piano Model B Mahogany was completed and shipped to former dealer E. Moulle' of Paris, France on October 21 1910. The E. Moulle' company was sold in 1947 to the current owner Pianos Hanlet S.A.S.

Finish: Brown Mahogany with some inlay, wood detail work and plated on-lay (gold). Overall condition is excellent with a few very minor scuffs. The left side of the piano has some fading due to sunlight.

Style: Art Case with carved trims and finely detailed support legs.

Action: Very good repetition and the hammers are excellent. The action was rebuilt several years ago with new hammers and pads. All moving parts have been recently regulated and lubricated to minimize friction and improve the touch.

Strings:  Bass and treble strings are in excellent condition
