He won the gold medal at the Bicentennial Century of Western Art Exhibition. Modernist color prints by master Colorado modernist printmaker Jerry Opper (b. 1924). Born in Cleveland, Opper studied at the Chouinard Art Institute and was at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center in the 1940s. He won awards at the Cincinnati International Color Lithography exhibition, the Pennell Print Show at the Library of Congress, Brooklyn Museum Print Show and the American Federation of Arts.
