Electrical substation and distribution gear contained in this listing consists of the following: a 3-section lineup of 15kV switches, originally configured in main- main-tie orientation (Square D HVL), a medium voltage dry type unit substation transformer rated at 2000kVA, 12470 primary: 480Y/277V secondary, Class AA in Nema 1 enclosure, QED switchboard rated at 480Y/277V (see shop drawings for ratings of feeder breakers), 65kAIC rating, 3000A rated., 7 sections of Model 6 Motor Control Center rated at 480Y/277V 3ph 4W, 65kAIC main horizontal bus rated at 600A. All of the gear was designed and installed to be a continuous lineup, thus there are mounting brackets, etc. to allow the configuration to be as follows (from left to right looking at the front of the gear): MCC-SWB- Transformer-15kv switches. All cable entry is from the bottom, various feeders were routed out of the top to serve loads. The gear was installed in 2014 and de-energized and moved into storage in spring 2016. It is composed of 5 major sections that are a total of 45’ long. The tallest piece is about 8’-6” tall. The transformer alone weighs 12,500 pounds. Manufactured by Square D.
