Auction Terms & Conditions

1. Your bid along with these terms creates a legal binding contract between you, Jones Auction Service, Jones Auction & Realty Service, LLC. All items sell As Is, Where Is, No Exceptions and No guarantee or warranty.

2. Internet Premium / Credit card convenience fee is 5%.

3. Bidding will close on Thursday, September 22nd at 6:00pm. The Credit Card used at the time of registration will be charged the following morning after the auction on Friday, September 23rd, 2022. Watch for an email from Jones Auction & Realty Service, LLC to the email address used at the time of registration with your paid receipt and pick up instructions. Your invoice/receipt will include the total winning bid price plus the Internet Premium.

4. Online/Internet bidding only- Under no circumstances shall the bidder have any kind of a claim against Jones Auction & Realty Service, LLC; the seller; the internet bidding platform company; or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly or if the bidder does not use the Live Catalog option when the lots start to close, or for any computer interruptions.

5. All bidding will be online/internet bidding only at www.jonesauctionservice.hibid.com and requires a valid credit card to register. Visa or MasterCard accepted.

6. Buyer is responsible for the complete removal of buyer's purchases and accepts full responsibility for any personal injury to himself or his agents and any property damage incurred on pick up premises. Seller, auctioneers and buyer expressly agree that the buyer is responsible for and agrees to indemnify seller, auctioneers and their respective affiliates for any and all damages (whether based on contract, tort, warranty, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory, and including special, incidental and consequential damages), losses, expenses, attorney's fees, court cost, etc. that arise out of or result from the removal, possession or use of any items purchased at auction, or any other claim regarding the use or possession of any asset purchased at auction. Your bid is a legal binding contract between you and Jones Auction & Realty Service, LLC. All sales are final and sold As Is, Where Is, without warranties or guarantees of any type and with all faults-No Exceptions. Auctioneers and seller expressly disclaim and exclude the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Bidders should satisfy themselves as to the usefulness and value of each item. Any statement in the description regarding the items to be sold should be considered a guide and a guide only.
Any error in description does not relieve the buyer or his/her agent of their responsibilities. We make every effort to provide complete and accurate descriptions of all items offered. You are responsible for your own inspection during scheduled preview dates. No warranty of quality, condition, merchantability, or fitness for intended use is given. All information contained on any website description is believed to be true and correct to the best of our knowledge and ability,
BUT IS NOT GUARANTEED. Contact us at (920) 261-6820 prior to bidding with questions. Merchandise becomes the full responsibility of the buyer at the time of purchase. Buyer assumes all risk of loss or damage while equipment is on our premises or in our possession.

7. All items are offered for sale to qualified purchasers without regard to prospective purchasers' race, color, gender, marital status, religion or national origin.

8. Auctioneers are licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Licensing & Regulation.

9. All buyers must acknowledge and accept the Terms and Conditions provided at the time of online registration. Your bid is a contract to purchase should you be the winning bidder.
Absolutely NO REFUNDS. We make every effort in preparing the catalog to provide accurate descriptions of all items. All property is sold As Is and it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. Please call with any questions prior to bidding; (920) 261-6820.


PAYMENT:
1. Visa or MasterCard used at the time of registration will charged following the close of the auction for the invoice total and internet premium. No items will be released until payment is made in full with cleared funds- No Exceptions.

2. At the close of the auction, Jones Auction & Realty Service, LLC will send out your invoice/receipt to the email address used to register.

Shipping is available at buyer's expense - Please contact our office at (920) 261-6820 if shipping is needed.

Banners will be available for pick up starting Monday, September 26th from the Watertown Chamber of Commerce office. Hours for the Chamber are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Address for pick up is 519 E Main Street, Watertown.

The beautiful hand-painted art banners that have been displayed along Main Street this summer will be sold via online bidding to raise funds for next year's Art on Main program and other downtown streetscape enhancements. Art on Main is a unique outdoor art banner exhibit created to celebrate the talent of local artists and to beautify and encourage downtown shopping to the benefit of every business in the downtown area. All online proceeds directly benefit the Watertown Main Street Program. Your support is greatly appreciated by the Artists. Online Bidding opens Monday, Sept., 12th and will close Thursday, September 22nd at 6:00pm. Banners have been displayed outdoors and may show minor signs of paint loss, cracking and fading. Thank you to our many talented artists who give freely of their time to create these lovely works of art for all to enjoy in downtown Watertown.
