St Ignace Area Hope is a charity formed by six Saint Ignace area churches. It includes the Food Pantry, the Hope Chest Resale Shop, and the Hope Hot Line. Its purpose is to provide immediate, temporary assistance to individuals who are urgently in need of goods or services due to financial hardship in the Mackinac County area.

The Hope Chest Resale Shop has amassed a HUGE assortment of antiques, collectibles and just all around amazing items.

We offer these items in our bi-weekly silent auction. But, because of the generosity of the local folks who donate to our store, our "Treasure Chest" collectible room is overflowing (literally~!) and we must thin the herd.

We are then having a live auction on Saturday, October 1st at 11 a.m. to empty the entire room~!

100% of the proceeds go to Area Hope.

We have glassware, cast iron cookware, wonderful lamps, baseball cards, sporting goods, a large assortment of dolls, Fiesta ware, all kinds of knick-knacks and figurines, older and newer video games, and entire shelf of Pyrex, Depression glass, framed art, and so much more.

Mackinac Animal Aid Association, which was created to see that all animals get the love and treatment in which they deserve, will have a food and beverage tent at the auction. All proceeds from that will benefit their organization.
