    Founded In 1930, Punxsutawney Tile & Glass Inc. was an industry leader in decorative glass tiles and glass block for the building industry. Having manufactured glass tiles during the Art Deco movement, operations were expanded into the manufacturing of decorated pressed and hand blown glass. Punxsutawney Tile & Glass Inc. was a contract manufacturer to the some of the biggest names in the glass industry. Having manufactured decorative ware, operations were expanded to the manufacturing of gift and novelty lines, manufacturing lantern globes for the railroad industry as well. Punxsutawney Tile & Glass was a leader in Sanctuary Votive Lights for churches and religious affiliates. Decorative Lawn and landscape items such as the “Gazing Balls” as well as other glass products were a tradition. Novelty items include; animals; slippers; ash trays; baskets; carriage light etc.
