Listing Information

Happy New Year to everyone !!  OK, it’s February, but it’s still a new year.

Wow, are we starting 2023 with a great sale ! A few cautions, before we start. With the rain we’ve had, over the past couple weeks, the road this sale is on, is going to make parking tricky. Do NOT park in the house driveway, please, it’s still pretty mushy. Park along the road,(it’s a gravel road), and leave room for other vehicles, residents, and shoppers to park.  I’m really hoping we get no more rain, for the week, that’ll help a lot.

Plus, the stairs up to the “knitting room”, are steep. We’ve added some lattice to the side, to help a little, but you still need to be cautious, please. Take your time. We have a zillion tote bags, for you to haul your goodies in, to get to checkout. Be aware, this house has a lot of step up/down areas, we’ve marked them, but know they’re there.

The sale will be Friday and Saturday, February 10-11, 9:00a.m.-2:00p.m., both days. The address is 211 Veselka, near Demi John. It’s not in Demi John, you pass the road going into Demi John, and go over the taaaaaall bridge. Take an immediate left, Veselka is the first road to the right. I’ll have signs out.

The sign-up sheet will be out Friday morning, around 8:00, and we’ll begin calling names in, around 8:45.  Leave your cranky pants at home, and be patient, please.

We accept credit cards and cash.

THERE WILL BE NO CHILDREN ALLOWED IN SALE AREAS.

Estate Liquidators does NOT provide loaders, haulers, nor pack mules. You are responsible for moving your own purchases.

Items in the sale include:

Beautiful artists proofs, and signed/numbered prints, by George Boutwell, (I talked with him, and got the story on one of his works, that was commissioned, with the artists proofs being auctioned off, to raise money for the Gulf Coast Conservation Association-GCCA. There were only 20 made), Ronnie Wells, John Cowan, and more, NIB Red Door, Estee Lauder, huge pelican collection, lighthouse collection, large redfish mounts, deer antlers, jewelry,(many nautical),  sterling,(including service for 8, Wallace Grand Baroque flatware), fly fishing books, Lefty Krebs fishing books, cook books, Yamaha organ, Schmidt autoharp, vintage Jolem Salem silverplate goblets, Canoesport kayak, steins, Red Wing vase, Limoges, sea shells, toys, vintage chollo lamp kit, miniature knitted sweaters, James Avery retired “love” sterling tennis racquet, corning ware, Salad Master cookware, boxes of plastic ware, china, crystal, boxes and boxes of kitchen utensils, George Foreman grill,(wouldn’t be a sale without one, right ???), Pampered Chef, bread maker, shelving units, Occupied Japan child’s tea set, copper molds, Lefton, Tervis, large stainless/aluminum kettles, very nice Maytag Centennial washer/dryer, bar stools, Disney watches, Hondo electric guitar, a LOT of baskets, knitting machines,(Brother, Singer, Pass, Bond, Studio/White, Empirical), more yarn that most stores you’ve seen, knitting and craft supplies, knitting books, patterns, large yarn trees, boxes of knitting needles, storage containers and totes, knit radar, Hague linker and stand, wooden screens, punching machines, garter bar sets, file drawers, office chairs, knitting cooler changers, winders, bobbin shuffle boats, (I guarantee y’all will be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of yarn !), huge collection of shot glasses, crab traps, lawn chairs, log rack, Troy-Bilt self propelled mower, ladders, small selection of tools, life jackets, blower, power washer, boat items, water skis, weed trimmers, tall storage cabinets, tank sprayer, cleaning supplies, and a LOT more !!  Ya just have to be there !

Some of you may not know yet, Jeannie Radford, Brenda’s Mother in Law, passed away recently. She was a wonderful Estate Liquidators worker,  for many years, and will certainly be missed.

Our next sale will be in the Wild Peach area, looks like a good one. Then, a really nice one, in Holiday Shores, on the lovely San Bernard River.
