When placing a bid, it becomes an agreement to purchase that specific item, lot, etc and you are bound to the terms and conditions of that auction. If you are the winning bidder, you are purchasing that/those item(s). You agree to pick-up your items by the specified date. Scheduled pick-up dates, times and locations for each auction are posted within that auction. Items won by bidding MUST be paid via credit card PRIOR to pickup. Please do not bid on items you are not planning to purchase. If you bid on an item and you do not pay for the item(s), then you shall BE reported and your bidding privileges will be suspended. If you bid, you MUST be available to pick up your purchases on the scheduled pick-up date listed in each auction. All items not picked up will become the property of Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland and will be forfeited and any payments made shall not be refunded or credited back to you. It is your responsibility to pack and load your merchandise at time of pick-up. Please think ahead as to what you will need. (Tools, boxes, newspaper for fragile items, containers, hand trucks, dollies, etc. for large items.) We do not offer loading assistance. We make every effort to describe items as accurately as possible and are not always able to list every flaw. There will be typical signs of wear and tear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We cannot guarantee electronics and mechanical items. Auction items are “as is” and “where is”. There are NO REFUNDS or CREDITS on auction items. All sales are FINAL. Dimensions provided in descriptions are approximate. A buyers premium of 18% and Maryland sales tax of 6% will be added to all purchases. Your credit card on file will be preauthorized for $1 at the time of the initial bidding and account set-up. You must consent to this $1 hold which is not a charge. If you are exempt and hold a Maryland tax license, you must present a copy of your Maryland sales tax exemption and fill out a copy of the Maryland sales tax form stating that you are buying these items for resale.
