1986 21ft Privateer boat and trailer
Honda 150 outboard new and not used in water.
The boat was used by a museum to collect samples from nearby rivers and estuaries. Examples of these sampling activities include taking sediment cores of the bottom or trawling for fish. The boat is being retired because, currently, the museum does very little of this kind of research and it is not economical to maintain our own vessel for work such limited use. A couple of years ago the outboard was stolen and our insurance company paid for a new outboard. We know of no issues with the transom, hull, or deck.
Current problems with the boat are as follows: the fuel is bad and fuel filter needs to be replaced, the steering system needs to be replaced/purchased (it was never fixed after the outboard was stolen). The trailer has a flat tire and was purchased in 1999.
High Bidder will receive after payment:
Boat with Registration signed for transfer. Hull Identification Number PVT21300F686 Bill of Sale (Drexel will go with the high bidder to a notary to sign the Bill of Sale) Buyer pays sales tax of 8% Buyer completes a REV-336
The trailer title will also be signed over to the buyer.
