Listing Terms and Conditions
We accept cash, check or credit card. A 5% buyer's premium will be added to all credit card payments.
A buyer number card is required to make purchases. Visit the Auction office to register for a buyer number with a valid driver's license (must be 18 years of age). Buyer cards are $5, and duplicate cards are available for $1 each. Buyer numbers expire at the end of each calendar year. There will be a $1 Ticket Fee per transaction. * 1 lot = A sale transaction regardless of how many items are in that lot.

Sales tax will be collected on all purchases unless a sales tax number is registered in the office. This is a live auction with multiple auctioneers going at the same time (6-10 rings). Buyers move from ring to ring to catch the best deals and the best merchandise. The minimum opening bid accepted is $5.00 per item, per choice, or per grouping of merchandise. All items, unless otherwise stated, are sold with a reserved bid.

All merchandise is sold "as is" or as represented by the consignor only. Be sure to inspect the merchandise prior to bidding. Shipshewana Auction, Inc. assumes no responsibility for damaged or stolen merchandise.
Private exchange of merchandise between buyers and consignors is prohibited. Merchandise is 100 percent the responsibility of the buyer after the item is sold. For larger items, you may purchase "sold" stickers from the office.
All merchandise must be paid for and removed the day of the auction. A 10% Buyer's Premium will be added to any merchandise not paid day of sale. Storage of leftover items will be assessed a fee of $25 per item.

Selling in Row 2, Spaces 8-12 (May 17th & May 24th)Huge 65 year military collection, This collection mainly covers items from WWI and II along with some, Vietnam era items, to include field radios, signal flags, old books, gun straps, Japanese flags, knives, military unit pics, a WWI bugle, several 1st, and 2nd, war helmets, GI gas cans, military officer hats, 2nd war korea army surplus, vintage army-navy surplus sign, WWII kitchen items, unopened cases of WWII items, several 2nd war military photo albums(American, Japanese) and much much more in boxes and totes, This lot has not been picked through! This is a must see for collectors, ebay sellers, and reenactors! This is all authentic! Everything pictured and listed will sell either May 17th or May 24th.
 
Selling in Row 3, Spaces 1-4: At least 30 beer mirrors and signs that have been in storage in a semi trailer for years. Many have never been hung. Machinist chests. Copper boilers, Budweiser canoe cut in half, ANTIQUE fishing lures, crocks, telephones, milk cans, milk cooler, Hoosier cabinet, Primitive blue wood cabinet, true scale farm toys, several small farm tables, large box of model trains, SLOT CARS, over a dozen model train engines,  several craftsmen tool boxes, signs,large cast iron kettles, radio tube tester and tubes,  iron wheels, lots of farm related iron, and other stuff. Candlestick telephones, hanging chicken scale  two small farm gas pumps, Budweiser beer signs, wooden barrel, tools, two large boxes of old radio tubes, old radio, original advertising beer signs, fishing reels, metal multi drawer cabinet, chemistry set, old army military play set, lots of miscellaneous
 
 
Our Miscellaneous & Antique Auction is held every Wednesday, year round. The auction starts by the sound of the bell at 9 am sharp! Six to ten auctioneers will take up the auction cry. Our main market thrust is for the better quality antique and collectible items, however as one of our old time auctioneers, Argie, used to state, "We sell anything from soup to nuts!" 
 
Every Wednesday we have people in attendance from all across the country. Many of our customers are here every Wednesday, both buyers and sellers, while every Wednesday there are people in attendance for the very first time. First time or for the last 40 years, we appreciate your business.
