This week's sale is truly an incredible statement of one's voyages over the years. The lovely British couple who owns this home is moving, and downsizing, and selling off some of  their most prized collections and items! The creative leather furniture sectional in amazing condition is up for sale right as you walk in - in the middle of the great room, along with the most beautiful metal art brutalist by Curtis Jere - signed circa 2005. There are some midcentury Danish furniture pieces here, as well as plenty of Bombay Company side tables, accent tables and chairs, umbrella stand, console table, among other pieces. The Waterford collection is mostly present in the dining room - and what a great selection - we have everything from Lismore pattern brandy snifters, to small bud vases, to candle holders, to small and bigger bowls by Waterford, but also Wedgewood, Stuart and Royal Doulton crystal. 

We have some amazing selection of Talavera plates, bowls, figures and statues among other Talavera pottery and decor - butterflies, coyote, planters, even bath decor are all here - some inside the house and some on the patio - most in amazing like new condition. We do have plenty of cacti plants, and planters for sale too - clay and terracota, few resin, as well as plenty of metal patio art, such as a cute family of quails, and even a roadrunner - an original iron/metal statement to every Arizonian backyard - or frontyard!

This home has also plenty of unusual items, such as WWII Marine Corp machete from 1944 - who knows what history this item has witnessed - comes with a sheath, some middle eastern knives and machetes/swords, as well as a great number of rugs - mostly picked up years ago in Saudi Arabia and Iran... Other unusual items in this house included with this very eclectic collection include camel hair rug from Saudi Arabia - 2.5x11 - handmade and vintage of course, although in great condition. We'll have some vintage toys including vintage mismatched 1990s lego pieces from Europe, some Star Wars 1977 through 1990s toys - Millenium Falcon, Kenner and other companies Star Wars figures, GI Joe's, action movie toys, and more... We'll also present four different ship models - some custom and some store bought. Most smaller scale. There are plenty of great items picked up abroad, such as inlaid Moroccan wood boxes, English playing cards in wooden box, high end gold threaded materials and fabric, silk scarfs and pillowcases - many embroidered and International textiles, linens from all over the world, including Middle Eastern style runners and table covers, and even a silk elephant embroidery, bought 40 years ago in India, custom framed and absolutely gorgeous piece of art!

The furniture in this house is quite exquisite and well taken care of. Please expect to see many pieces from Creative leather, Bombay company, Ashley Furniture Store, Ladlow's, Thomasville, Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, as well as custom Hacienda/Farmstyle solid wood furniture including cabinets, dressers, tables, custom bed frames, and even like new twin mattress with like new iron frame/headboard and footboard. The patio furniture wicker set is in great condition as well - and will be priced to sell! 

The entire household presents some amazing pieces of decor and collectible centerpieces, or accent items, many picked up in UK, middle East or Far East, but also other European countries, as well as Mexico when it comes to Talavera. There are some Native American, Ethiopian and other African handmade baskets, Native American and Saudi Arabian/Iranian art, Native bow and arrow, windcatcher, a few pots and different pottery pieces signed by artists, such as vintage Acoma and Jemez pottery... There will be a few naval tools - most brass and vintage of Enlish heritage like Maritime Sextant and brass compass... We also will have couple original watercolor pictures from the 1970s and 80s. 

Even the closet and master bedroom can be a delightful surprise here, as we will have quite a few costume jewelry for sale, some sterling and turquoise. Please note that all sterling or gold jewelry, as well as valuables are relocated outside of the sale until the morning of the sale... There are few native american turquoise pieces, as well as great selection of costume jewelry, some International pieces... We will have Coach and Anne Klein, Fossil and Marc Jacobs wallets and purses for sale here, cowboy boots - both for men and women, designer shoes, belts, designer and brand new clothing, leather jackets, new clothing - and just some great selection of handbags, belts, shoes, and clothing overall... 

We do have plenty of tools for sale in the garage, including excellent condition Gladiator tool cabinets, vintage English wood working planes, Craftsman 10" Miter saw on stand, red small tool chest on wheels, multiple small tool boxes, hand tools of all kind, gardening tools and supplies, tree trimmer, shovels, and more! 

One of the most interesting and perhaps key items we have actually just discovered are vintage hats and caps! We have a vintage 1976 Sarajevo USSR military issued winter hat, some baseball hats from the 1990s by different teams, such as Phillies, Tamba Bay Bucaneers, LA Dodgers, New York Yankees - all snap back dating to 1980s and 1990s, some brand new with tags - there's also a small collection of newer caps and hats of different teams, logos, etc, such as Arizona Cardinals, among other teams. The office also has an amazing collection of vintage pennants - from San Diego Sea World, to Disney World, to Washington Redskins, to different NFl and MLB team pennants from different decades - we have it all!
