We are cleverly located in Lake Park, MN 30 minutes east of Fargo, ND and 12 miles west of Detroit Lakes MN on US HWY 10. Go NORTH at THE stop light at Casey's for one half mile to downtown. We are located in the second block on the west side of the street. The order of buildings is Jeff's Foods, Historical Society, City Center, Crooked Halo, US, - RESOLD AUCTIONS on the corner, across from the Post Office. Our Main Street is 2nd Street - the one you turned on to. Upcoming Auctions: Country Wood Products & Services ending June 12th. Molding etc. Inhouse auction ending June 19th. Final Subway remodeling auction in Bemidji ending June 19th. Estate sale in Ulen MN ending July 10th. Building Supplies in June, also.

This sleigh was personally owned and used by Buster Welch. It was acquired through his estate sale by Resold Auctions conducted by Hatcher Estate Sales in Abilene, TX. Fifty photos to help you see the condition of this piece of history. Overall it is very sturdy and requires two men to move it or one man on snow! It was always in one of Busters buildings and was in a bunkhouse when it was retrieved by Resold Auctions in March of 2023. Contrary to popular belief, Abilene gets a few snow showers each year. The sleigh measures 62" Long, 41" wide and 39" tall to the top of the seat back. The design is for a driver in front on the bench with 2 adults riding in the back or without a specified driver. This sleigh is by no means perfect but it is believed to be complete. Leave it as is, spruce it up a bit or a full restoration! The runners are all there and could use some sanding. This is a part of cowboy history that is a one-of-a-kind.
