The estate sale this week is located in South Scottsdale and represents a true image of Mid Century collectibles, living and decor. Starting with the very sought for pair of original mid century Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller Walnut Chairs, beautiful selection of mid century tables, lamps (including of course mid century Leviton lamps), lanterns, tableware, ceramics, Pyrex, Corning Ware and so much more! Everything here reminisces of 1950s and 1960s era, including items as simple as Tupperware or measuring cups in the kitchen - and yes - those are also 1960's originals! If you're a mid century fan this is a must-see sale this weekend! The house was built in 1957 in South Scottsdale, and you can just imagine the treasures left behind, as the owners have moved...

Some of the most interesting pieces shown in this household are the art pieces. And there we have a few oil on canvas original - mostly from the 1970s, as well as more modern Poppies original painting on canvas, signed by the artist. We also have a large selection of art by the infamous artist - Susanne Dolesch - artist proof Limited Edition Lithograph, as well as Limited Edition prints, etchings signed on both sides by the artist, Artist Proof Tempe show poster signed, as well as etched cards, and original scarfs from 1970s, hand painted by the artist herself as well. She was a friend of the family, thus you may see a lot of her pieces personally dedicated and hand signed. We will also present some DeGrazia Art here as well from different decades, as well as very sought for David Lance Goinez vintage poster in frame, and a vintage Captain Morgan's mirror tray art. There are also multiple pieces of photo art in this home as well, including a very large photograph similar to Peter Lik's photograph of Mesa Arch - in custom frame, bought at a gallery. 

Mid Century era truly speaks out of every room as even majority of the books are either early 1900s or earlier, or first editions of 1940s and 1950s. The kitchen is also all about Mid century with the Merry Mushroom very rare soup tureen with a platter and original lid and ladle, Merry Mushroom mug and same design Corning Ware. In the kitchen you will also find other traints of 1950s and 1960s, such as unique Orleans Silver flatware, Pixieware, Mid century martini glasses, rock glasses, 1960s Tupperware and bread box, along with mid century square kitchen/dining table. We'll also be selling collectible 1980s Welch Winnie The Pooh juice glasses and Coca Cola glassware, as well as McDonald's glassware. Please note one of the bedrooms has a great selection of board games and backgammon sets dating from 1950s through 1980s - all available for sale and in great condition! 

When it comes to furniture in this household, we will be presenting a like new Arizona Leather sectional in the family room, along its matching ottoman - it will be an absolute steal so please come and sit on it, try it out, as it is in showroom condition, and a truly very well made amazing find! Some of the family room furniture here is also like new, such as end tables and the entertaining center. The adjoining room which is the guest room has a complete set of 3 different size solid wood dressers as well as a contemporary headboard and footboard bed with Sleep Number bed on it... 

The Christmas goes back to 1950s too! Shiny Bright ornaments in original boxes are here! These rare treasures will also be presented in the family room, but there's more! We have other midcentury as well as other vintage ornaments present on the table, as well as in the cabinets next to it. There are Star Trek ornaments, Looney Tunes ornaments, Coca Cola, Disney, Nightmare Before Christmas and Hallmark ornaments and sets - many new in boxes, and majority like new or near mint! This same room will also hold the very rare and collectible selection of Kyosho radio controlled cars - some with very rare bodies. There will be some vintage Tyco and RadioShack models with remotes as well. 

The selection of Kachinas and Southwestern pottery is noticeable here too, with mutliple kachinas placed in custom glass cases, all vintage and signed - mostly Navajo, but almost all of the kachinas are in perfect condition, and large or very large size - 14 inches to 24 inches in height. We'll present some Jemez pottery and storytellers here too, along with a selection of southwestern art.

This home will hold a very large selection of costume jewelry, many vintage pieces. We'll have a very large sterling silverware set for sale as well. We'll also be selling sterling silver creamer and sugar cup, sterling silver Frank Whiting coasters, Waterman pens, a great selection of pocket knives, vintage vinyl records, 45 rpm records, and 8-track tapes, along with a vinyl player and multiple pieces of vintage stereo equipment. The outside also offers multiple tables filled with tools, some like new or brand new in package, and some professional tools, such as MK100 wet tile saw, and MK Products Water pump. It is outside on the patio also where you will find mid century wrought iron and very heavy set of patio furniture in Maple leaf design, as well as a mid century play pen and crib on wrought iron wheels... 

Two of the bedrooms inside will also present a great selection of 1970s through 1990s McDonald's, Arby's and Wendy's happy meal type toys, including mutliple Looney Tunes figures, Disney, Casper ghost set, Sesame Street multiple sets, Fragglerock figures in cars, Gummi Bears toys, Tasmanian Devil, Star Trek items, M&M's brand new dispenser. Mid century accents are present here too with 1960s children's high chair and original wood pottry training chair. We will also be selling a child's desk and chair from the early 1900s, as well as antique trunk and children toy chest/bench.
