Listing Information
The lady of the house was an artist with a great appreciation for beautiful things. Beautiful modern furniture in light colors including living room sofa, loveseat, coffee table, end tables, wall unit and lamps; bedroom set including king-sized bed with headboard and footboard, dresser with mirror, three-drawer stone-topped nightstands, another stone-topped table and an armoire with drawers; a trundle bed; a computer desk and matching cabinet. A Yamaha synthesizer. Lots of signed and numbered art, limited edition Armani Geisha girl figurines and Florence figurines, easels and art supplies, closet after closet of good clothing including two fur coats, several hundred books, "Great Courses" DVDs and art history VHS sets, several assistive medical devices including an unusual half-step cane designed to allow the user to climb steps more easily, multiple sets of dishes including two sets of vintage Noritake, a set of Mikasa, a set of vintage Pyrex cinderella nesting bowls in an oak leaf print, Keurig coffee machine, Oneida silver, many bowls and vases the artist used as props for her still-life paintings, and lots of good silver jewelry and a Movado watch yet to be appraised. In the garage, a New Balance recumbent exercise bike, barely used; an exercise chair with resistance bands and an instructional video; a Total Gym with all accessories, paperwork and the instructional video; and a Huffy 10-speed bicycle. Two lawn mowers that work but could use a little TLC, and a vintage Craftsman snow blower that would make a great autumn restoration project. Much more detail to come as we continue our research and discoveries. The family has been going through the contents of the house and found a great deal of new or like-new art supplies. Three easels, one of which is built into a big cabinet and loaded with dozens of good brushes in good condition; one that folds up into its own little box; and one large metal one. Drawers full of recent paints. Blank canvases. Empty frames. Spread the word among your artist friends that this sale will be a great place to acquire supplies at a fraction of the retail price.
