Saturday November 18th @ 10:00 am - Hartzell’s Auction Gallery is pleased to offer fresh-to-the-market artwork from the Collection of Kathryn Zervos (granddaughter of Sterling Strauser). Including: a rare 1933 cubist “Self-Portrait”, “Dot’s High-Heels”, Florals, Greenstamps, Nudes, Trotters and more. In addition to the Strauser paintings from the Zervos collection, there will be a rare 1919-1920 original Justin McCarthy sketchbook and several McCarthy oil on boards of fruits/vegetables, florals, animals and more. Other artist’s featured from the collection include: Joe Polinski, Robert Rasely, Jack Savitsky, Victor Joseph Gatto, Paul Lancaster, David Burliuk, Dorothy Strauser, Floreta Emma Worfel, Rozanski, Pee Paw, Pry, Tom Fish and More.
In addition to the quality artwork several other categories will be offered. Including: Folk Art Carved Canes, Weathervanes, Southern Face Jugs (Reinhardt, Ferguson, Meaders, Hanning, Fleming, Boone), Tramp Art Frames and Miniature Furniture, Art Pottery (Roseville, Weller, Fulper, Van Briggle) , Hand Stitched Quilts, Mangle Boards, Slate Gameboards and More.
