Terms & Conditions Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland advises all prospective bidders to read the Terms & Conditions of the auction and sale prior to bidding. By placing a bid, the bidder is agreeing and bound to the terms and conditions of the auction and sale. Bidders need to complete the Buyers Registration Form prior to placing bids. Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland reserves the right to deny or terminate any registered bidder and/or reject any bids for any reason, especially if fraudulent activity is suspected. Please make sure your address, phone number, and email are current. Bidders guarantee they are of legal age of 18 to place bids in our auctions. Non-payment or fraudulent bidding may lead to legal action. If you are a dealer requesting tax exemption, please provide your Maryland Sales and Use tax ID number on registration form in the notes section and provide a copy of your Maryland Sales and Use tax license when picking up your item. Maryland State law requires verification of validity. Per Maryland law, purchases under $200.00 will not qualify for tax exemption if you are picking up your items. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. Bidders are responsible for their bids. Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland does not accept cancellations or bid retractions. Pictures are part of our descriptions and should be inspected carefully. If an item has been tested, it will be stated in the listing. Our staff does their best to research, photograph, and provide honest and accurate descriptions, but we are unable to provide guarantees. All sales are final. Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland reserves the right to remove any items from the sale and add any items to the sale at any point during the auction. Any changes made to the description of an auctioned item takes precedence over any previous description. Buyer’s premium is 15% and will be added to the purchase price. Sales tax is calculated after buyer's premium. Maryland 6% sales tax will be added to all your taxable purchases. Item pick-up is on the day FOLLOWING the end of the auction unless otherwise stated. Successful payment is needed to pick up items. The pick up address will be shared using provided email after the auction ends. Any items not claimed beyond pick-up day without prior arrangements, will be deemed abandonned and property of Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland. No refunds will be issued for abandonned items. Any items picked up outside of posted hours will incur a $20.00 additional handling charge. There will be no exceptions. All persons picking up items need to bring a copy of the invoice and a valid ID for verification. Buyer notify Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland of the full first and last name if sending anyone to pick up your items. Buyer is responsible for bringing boxes, packing supplies, manpower and tools. Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland staff are unable to help with packing and loading. Buyers accept all risks to person, property, or items while picking up items. No children, pets or elderly, as the driveway is steep. Please exercise caution while on the property. Exclusive Estate Sales of Maryland does provide shipping and handling for a select few items. Items that can be shipped will show the blue shipping truck symbol and have shipping prices included within the listing. When possible, we will combine shipping. We do not combine shipping for fragile items. Please inform staff by email to request shipping. Combined shipping fee will be included on invoice. We do not ship internationally.
