Here is a lovely bio written by grandson Lou of the family we are liquidating;
Louis Danison was born in Ohio 1 of 9 children. The family can came from humble beginnings. Louis proudly served the US Navy in WW2. He was a general contractor and had his real estate sales license.
Louis was constantly hungry for knowledge and never stopped studying the world. For example, In his 70’s he decided to learn Chinese and in just a few years he was able to
read and write.
 Pearl Danison was born in Placerville California. She also had her real estate brokers license and performed taxes year round. Their son was also a carpenter. Pearl and Lou were proud parents of 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
About the Baldwin Piano-
– Coming from humble beginnings his mother had a worn and beat up piano that she used to play for the family. As a child Louis fantasized about one day buying her a grand piano for her to play. Later in life he purchased the piano that is for sale to honor his commitment to his mother and represents the love a young boy had for his mother.
 Carpentry Tools –
Pearl’s father was a master carpenter and taught Louis much of what he knew. Many of the tools have been in the family for 4 generations and are deserving of a new project or challenge.
Africa Room –
Louis and Pearl had a deep appreciation for African culture, customs and art. Louis especially had an affinity for wood carvings and the hard work that went into creating each piece. This is a very proud part of their collection.
 Asian Art –
Both Louis and Pearl appreciated the level of detail in Asian carvings and artwork. As mentioned before Louis was so passionate about it he learned the language in his 70’s. Antique light fixtures –
Louis helped build hundreds of homes in Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe during his lifetime. He appreciated great quality and created his collection of light fixtures over
40+ years.
Hopefully this heartfelt submission about this family will entice you all to come shop from this magnificent collection.
We hope you will stop by and share a snack with us all.
We are planning on having a fabulous sale with lots of happy people going home with full boxes of treasures. Please bring your patience as the checkout line is sure to be a handful but we will have three people doing the job so it should go as smoothly as possible.
