You must be able to pick up on Saturday, May 4th between 9:00 - 2:00 in Washington. No-shows and non-payments will be reported to HiBid for future auctioneers to review. This may affect your chance to register for future auctions. DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN'T PAY AND PICK UP! Your credit card will be automatically charged after the auction ends. NOTE: Items over $200 will be held for 45 days before they are shipped to avoid the rampant charge-backs we are receiving from scammers. Sorry...we have no choice. We will add postage to your statement prior to the charge. A $3.00 handling fee will be added to exact postage and added to your statement. We can not be held responsible for glitches in the HiBid Auction Software System. We always suggest placing your bids early to avoid last minute issues. Make sure you bring help to move and PACKING MATERIALS/BOXES AND BAGS FOR SMALLER LOTS. We do not have any packing materials or movers during pick-up. A 12% Buyers Premium will be added to all lots.

This is Part 2 of our Washington, MO auction - our WWII memorabilia from the collection of serviceman Raymond Hodapp of St. Louis. He was an Army officer who was a dentist in WWII and these are items he brought back to the US. 1 WWII US 45th Infantry Division Helmet & Liner Both pieces are in excellent condition as shown. The insignia is on the liner. 2 Original WWII German M35 Kreigsmarine Helmet This is an authentic German Kreigsmarine helmet brought back by a family member during WWII. The US service member was a dentist and an officer. His name was Raymond Hodapp from St. Louis. This particular helmet is in outstanding condition with t... 3 WWII Field Belt-Canteen-First Aid Kit-Compass WWII Field Gear Items I'm keeping this group together as everything in the photo came with the belt. That includes the canvas belt, canteen, US Army Corp of Engineers compass, a sealed field First Aid kit and a still full tin of sulfanilamide. ... 4 WWII US Combat Carbine M-4 Bayonet M8A1 Scabbard A WWII US Combat Carbine M-4 Bayonet with an M8A1 Scabbard. Both are in great shape as shown. This is part of a series of items a family member brought back home from WWII. 5 WWII Officers Swagger Stick Hidden Dagger & Sheath It has a leather handle and steel blade. The sheath is leather with a crop style tip. It's in excellent condition as shown with no damage, peeling, etc. Really great shape! It belonged to a dental officer in WWII who brought it back from overs... 6 WWII US Army Officer Sam Browne Leather Belt Strap This is a WWII Sam Browne leather belt and shoulder strap. It's stamped "genuine shell cordovan". Both pieces show standard issue wear and it could use a bit of cleaning but no peeling or damage. Really great condition! 7 WWII German Leather K98 Ammunition Pouch WWII German Ammo Compartment Pouch. The leather is in great shape with no peeling, cracking, etc. It just needs a little polishing. It has markings inside the lids as shown. The compartment dividers are still intact. A nice German collectibl... 8 WWII M31 German Canteen & Sleeve WWII German M31 Metal Canteen and Tropical Sleeve. It does not have a cup/cover. Otherwise, it's in great shape as shown. 9 WWII British #1 Electric Signal Lantern This WWII British lantern shows it's age and wear. It appears to be intact and complete. Overall good condition. 10 2 WWII Harness Clips w/ Release - Paratrooper? These two clips were part of the WWII locker we cleared and from the looks of the release buttons on the side I'm wondering if they were for paratroopers. You push both sides at the top and it releases whatever it's holding. Both clips are in good... 11 WWII Trench Art Shell Cap Ashtray It's in good used condition - about 6" in diameter. 12 WWII US Army Officers Sword Chain Hanger A WWII officer's sword chain hanger for a Sam Browne belt. This one is in great shape with no peeling or damage to the leather. A great collectible. 13 WWII Officer's Riding or Drivers Crop Whip This WWII Officer's riding crop whip is in great shape! It's about 24" long with no damage. The braiding is nice and tight and there's no damage to the handle. 14 WWII Era Tribal Knife and Sheath This was one of the items that was brought back from overseas by the family member after WWII. The blade is pretty rusty and it needs to be cleaned up but otherwise it's in good shape. It appears to be an African tribal knife but don't quote me on... 15 WWII Mortar Fin This Mortar fin also came back from overseas in the trunk. Looks like it's seen some things. 16 WWII Field First Aid Kit - Sealed This WWII first aid kit is stilled sealed...the pull tab is intact. Shows wear and tear but it's in overall good condition. 17 1930's Eagle Steel Octogan Lighter The black finish has chipped off in most places but it's in good shape otherwise. Untested. 18 WWII Breda Model 35 Italian Hand Grenade It's deactivated = (needed to be said! lol) Breda Model 35 Grenade from WWII. Good shape as shown. 19 Pair German Pressure Ignitors Inert A pair of WWII German Pressure Ignitors. Good visual condition. 20 WWII Ammo Bandolier Sling Bag It's in good, solid condition with normal age wear and discoloration. I believe it's an ammo bandolier. 21 WWII Metal Foot Locker It's in good condition as shown. The leather handles are missing. 22 3pc WWII Field Utensils They are in excellent condition. 23 WWII Officer's Ribbons Pins Insignia Belt Buckle The owner of these items was a dentist in the Army during WWII. 24 WWII Uniform Patches An assorted LOT of WWII uniform patches. includes the China Burma India Theater Patch and the Amored Tank 1st Battalion patches. Good condition as shown. 25 WWII Armored Tanker Hood The flap in the back has some stains but the hood is in overall excellent condition. No rips or damage. 26 WWII Wool Garrison Cap It has some little moth holes here and there but in good condition. 27 US Military Green Duffle Bag It shows wear and tear but is in good condition overall. I believe it's from the 1960's. 28 US Military Issue Combat Boots 1960's - 10 N These were "back up boots" for my client who was enlisted in the mid 60's. They are in near new condition with no damage, etc. Size 10 N. |
