To settle the estate of the late Horace T.Beam Jr. we sell his extensive record collection, books, paper goods and estate misc at absolute auction! RECORD COLLECTION! Mr. Beam was an avid musician and collected records most of his long life. From Edison Records to rock icons, his collection is the largest personal collection I have ever seen! There are literally hundreds of liquor boxes packed full to be sold by the box! If you like, buy, sell or trade records you'll not want to miss this exceptional opportunity! We have boxed over 210 liquor boxes full of records at this time and have a few more to pack! BOOKS! Horace Beam was a life long educator in Gaston County. His book collection equals or exceeds his record collection in volume, diversity and mass! School books, religious, movie stars, novels, coffee table books and more! Hundreds of boxes to be sold by the box! MUSIC! A talented musician and a master organist you'll be amazed by the amount of organ and sheet music he amassed! Not as much as the records or books but plenty of it, all to be sold by the box! We have already packed over 130 liquor bozes of books and paper! There are a few boxes to go! COMICS! POSTERS! There is a box or two of very old comics and various posters to be sold! MAGAZINES! A good many boxes of old Look, Life and other magazines, National Geographic plus some vintage German magazines to be sold by the box for highest and best bid! FURNITURE! ESTATE GOODS! We will also the remaining furniture and personal property including a very nice Early American sofa, maple dough and end tables, maple breakfast set. Two vintage trunks, foot lockers & vintage suitcases. Two window air units. Two vintage stereos. record players, projectors & more. Pictures, mirrors, decorative items plus much, much more! We will undoubtedly still be packing until the auction starts! Could be some grand surprises. TERMS! Auction will be held rain or shine! All auction goods must be removed on auction day! CASH ONLY! OPEN HOUSES! The real estate will be sold at 10 am the same day. Ken will be holding the house open; Mon. Feb.15 from 5 until 6 pm Mon. Feb. 22 from 5 until 6 pm Mon. Feb. 29 from 5 until 6 pm Sat. March 5 from 9 until 10:45 AM You are welcome to view the personal property at the same time. Please be especially considerate to the folks looking at the real estate, courtesy is contagious! NOTE: The re-boxing or re-packing of any of the pre-boxed box lots WILL NOT be permitted! LEGACY: Horace t.Beams legacy will continue in Gaston County. Horace left his entire estate jointly to Lenoir Rhine University and the Philadelphia Lutheran Church AUCTIONEERS NOTE: Please note that the live auction of the personal property will start promptly at noon!
