Listing Information

Carl And Gloria’s Little Land Park Home

Much of the furniture is to be sold in as is condition and the prices will reflect the work needed to bring them back to the state they were once in. Do come early for our raffle and also coffee and donuts on the house while you wait in line to enter at 9am. We’ll have a dozen or so chairs for you to sit in and the boys will most likely have their weekly card game going.

812 Fremont Way Sacramento 95818

Carl and Gloria’s family home is being emptied.
We’d love for you to join us and help us manage the task.

This sad little house feels helpless without it’s late family; the lack of music, busy hands washing vintage dishes and glassware, rustling fingers in the garage digging through bins of nuts and bolts, gardeners working the aging vegetation around the delicate Old Land Park yard and sons and daughters visiting their parents on holiday weekends….this and more is all but forgotten and the house moans for new life.

It is evident by the runs in the hallway walls, the dings and dents in the dresser drawers, the scrapes and gashes on the door-trim and sheet-rock that not one but both of the last residents were confined to wheelchairs and made their way handily about this little home making no mind to the captivity of the chairs but rather continuing on with their day to day chores of laundry, dishes, playing games and visiting family and friends.

The husband worked in the garage and his wife spent her time in the house and yard. And so they lived their lives happily and without remorse for this misfortune or any other they weathered for over 67 years of joy.

There is not a huge amount of collection to shop from but rather a smaller and easily navigated amount that will be fun to browse through and choose amongst.

We hope you will stop by to join us this coming Thursday and we will try our best to update the photos online with new proof of preparation and any wonderful goodies we dig up in cabinets, cupboards and the garage as well.

We thank you once more for your patronage and also the read.
