Listing Information

LARGE MULTI-ESTATE AUCTION

SATURDAY MARCH 8th, 10:00am, 1835 SOUTH PLEASANTS HIGHWAY, ST. MARYS WV.

Selling household furnishings and personal property from the estate of the late James Melvin Clark well known resident, collector and Antique Dealer in Wetzel County, plus household furnishings and personal property of the late William B. (Sonny) Woody and surviving Wife Carole d/t relocation from Parkersburg to St. Marys WV.

AUCTIONEER'S UPDATE march 5th. Three days to go before Saturday and I guess over 500 pictures are enough for the gallery. Weather looks Ok and we have plenty of parking. The automobile is clean and in good condition with a new inspection sticker good to Dec. 2025. Antique Glassware is exceptional as previously mentioned and we found many more rare pieces as we opened boxes that have obviously been dormant for many years. I have sold literally hundreds of sets of plated silverware over the years and extreamly few sets of Sterling silver. I think there are few sold, obviously due to cost, and those buyers pass them down through generations. The set in this sale comes with an appraisal of $7,615.00 done in 1989.

AUCTIONEER'S NOTE: We will be doing some listing and descriptions as indicated for this sale but will rely mostly on a large photo gallery with captions as indicated. We have a variety of nice Antique, and contemporary furniture here with several pieces that literally define the "Mid Century Modern" trend.  This sale is exceptional, however, in the amount and variety of "Sought-After" art glass pottery, and other collectibles.

TERMS OF SALE: Cash, Check with good I.D., or major Credit Card.

AUCTIONEERS: R. James (Jim) Buck WV#271, Lowel Goff WV#330, Emmit Allen

Sale will be indoors so come rain or shine. Snacks & toilets available. All items sold "as is where is". Announcements day of sale take precedence over all other information printed or otherwise conveyed. If you cannot haul all of your purchasaes due to weather or cargo space, some may be left in sale building at your own risk for pick-up by appointment within one week.
