Listing Information

Long time Pasadena resident and Broadway, TV and movie actor Robert Picardo is moving from his beautiful Myron Hunt historical home near the Langham-Huntington Hotel. Novotny Estate Sales will be handling this sale, which will include many of the homes' furnishings, art, statuary as well as personal effects, collectibles and mementos.
 


Cult TV enthusiasts remember Picardo as Kevin Arnold's gym teacher on The Wonder Years, for which he received an Emmy nomination. He also starred opposite Dana Delany in the Vietnam drama, China Beach. But, Mr. Picardo is most recognized for his popular character of the holographic doctor on Star Trek Voyager. He considers Trek fans the most loyal in the world and he welcomes them to come and help him bid farewell to the beautiful home and city he has been honored to live in.



At the request of long-time friends, this sale was taken on by N.E.S. to facilitate the disbursement of a beautifully restored Myron Hunt (c. 1913) 9,500 sq foot home in an historic district of Pasadena. A family member has kept much of the furnishings that originally filled the home. We are selling what remains of this lovely collection-- there are still many items of interest, particularly to fans of the long and varied career of homeowner, Robert Picardo.



Among the items being offered:

1912 Brunswick Pool Table (original to the home!) and companion (and rare) pool/ cue Cabinet (on the 3rd floor); assorted Antique, vintage and contemporary furniture including Bachelor chest, antique chests, tables, cabinets, Desk, chairs, etc.; Rugs, contemporary and vintage, (incl 9x12 Nichols Art Deco rug); Mirrors-Art Nouveau Mirror, Lamps..

Collectibles, china, crystal (Waterford), Tobacciana, Star Trek memorabilia, men's clothing Art, paintings, Decorative Art,

Outdoor Statuary, urns, pots..; Patio furniture, LYNX professional Gas barbeque and LYNX SS outdoor bar

TONS of fantastic Holiday (EVery holiday conceivable--Halloween, Easter, Christmas, St. Paddy's....) decorations; Gift wrap for Miles! (Martha Stewart would be envious ..there was a fabulous gift wrapping room)

Beautiful home and grounds (sits on an acre) and is in the vicinity of this years' Pasadena Showcase Home. In fact, due to Showcase event, the parking is restricted on the days of the event.
