Listing Information

This is not the average sale. These are unusual contents of a home and barn vacant for many years. The past residents were collectors, artists, builders, decorators, did shows, had horses and show dogs.  There are extensive hand made items, quilts, quilting & sewing items, artwork, paintings, needle work & supplies, sewing machines, fabric, 100’s of thread spools, old buttons, hand tools, power tools, garden ornaments, tons of vintage & newer holiday ornaments, horse saddle, Breyer Horses & animals, collector dolls, figurines, pink and other Pyrex, Corning Ware, depression glass, oak, maple and pine furniture, large and small fish tanks, musical instruments, lots of LPs & 45 records, and so much more. Huge collection of jewelry including costume, gold filled, 10k, 14k, and 18k.

But, THAT’S NOT ALL!  This was the contents of a local craftsman, Harold E. Woodman who was owner of Country Woodshop in Wells Maine. Woodman ran a business like no others creating minature dollhouses replicating local and national stately homes around the country and maybe the world. Woodman’s work is even in the Smithsonian museum.

After closing his shop in Wells, he moved the contents his Sanford home. He continued to create magnificent stately homes and dioramas. Here the finished and unfinished lay as he left them. Barber shops, ice cream parlors, barns, stately homes, green houses, gazebos, new and old stock, lighting, electrical connections, stairs, windows, furniture, stoves, appliances, sewing machines, bedroom sets, parlor sets, music rooms, rugs, drapes, mini paintings, miniature people dressed in period clothes and job related outfits of farmer, bakers, butcher, barbers, groom, children, baby’s, adults young and elderly, all in amazing detail. This is an unbelievable collection of a craftsman’s entire life’s work.

Bring flashlights, boxes, bags, wrapping.  We do not provide them.

Cash only.  NO pre-sales or early buyers. No prices provided ahead of sale, you must be present. No bathroom available.
