Good Afternoon! Spring is finally here and we're all so happy to get out in the beautiful sunshine! We're excited to bring you the Estate Sale of Ms. Annette Cage. She loved to sew and cook. Because she sewed so beautifully, she quickly found decorators knocking on her door to sew for them! She sewed pillows and draperies for numerous decorators, including her dear friend, Clowe Wright. Annette collected antiques for many years and some of the furniture she refinished herself (another creative talent)! You'll find while browsing through this "cuter than any dollhouse" many old cookbooks, lamps, and a large collection of green depression glass (many unusual pieces). In her later years, she enjoyed painting. She was quite innovative. Look under some of the expensive designer table cloths with a beveled glass top and you might find a filing cabinet or a large garbage can turned upside down or anything else that would be just the right height and could substitute for a table. Also, she was a great story teller and loved to embellish her stories. Her daughter, Lori, often called her a "nib nose" because Annette was so nosy and would often tell tidbits about the latest neighbor, etc. She has a daughter and two sons who have been gracious enough to let us offer you a bunch of her "goodies". You won't be disappointed. You'll see the love she had in placing all of her treasures in this adorable house. Sorry, the house sold the first day it was listed!
