The most charming house in the world! This home was built by a famous architect in 1933 who came over and deigned it out of used ship parts, recycled brass, copper, shingled, brick, and even the wood.

To label it charming is nearly insulting. This house is my very favorite ever!
Some of you may remember years back we had an estate sale down at this lovely Bavarian type bungalow on the river (inside the courtyard) when Kristen’s mom passed away. Recently, Kristen has lost her wonderful father Peter Brown and she has asked for help.

We are sorry for her loss but are honored to help her empty his collection as well as many generations of collections from this house so that she too…may return to raise her own two young children (one of which you will see at the bottom of our photos online) in her childhood home but rather keeping only the bare necessities she longs to have and pass on to her own children.
In the process, we will be selling clothing, vintage dishes, antique pictures, saddles, toys, games, hunting, fishing, advertising, bottles, tools, farm items, Italian dishes, glassware, jewelry (even after we sold her mother’s thousands of gold and silver pieces at the last sale held there…they have dug up even more) We’ll sell garden items, garage goods, hats, bags, dresser pieces,
I personally like Kristen a great deal and have much in common with her, the least of all was our great love and admiration for Brad Martin.

It is with great respect we help Kristen with this challenge and we hope all of you who are able (and willing to make this lovely drive down the river to see us) will help she and her new family empty this home of the many cherished items she has no use for but you just might.

We want to thank all of you who helped us liquidate the home/barn/garage for Jean Yves and Linda in FairOaks. We had a good time even with the drizzle and managed to sell much of what they had to offer and he will entertain buyouts of what is left at a single price if you or a friend has interest in the art or furniture not sold. The metal barn is also still for sale so if you like, I can forward your information to him if you are interested. We were glad to help them out.
