Buyer Responsibility:
Buyers are responsible for knowing the details of the item they are bidding on. Once a bid has been placed, the bidder has entered into a contract to pay for their winning bids. BC Modern reserves the right to pursue all legal actions to ensure the buyer fulfills this contract. If you're unsure about what you're bidding on... DO. NOT. BID!

Approval to Bid:
To be approved to bid, your name and address must match for both shipping and billing. If there is a discrepancy, your request to bid will be declined. We do not approve bidders with negative feedback on their HiBid account, such as records of non-payment with other companies. BC Modern will not honor mistakes made by the buyer.

Buyers Terms:

A 15% buyer's premium is added to winning bids.
Wisconsin state sales tax applies to all orders unless a tax-exempt certificate is provided before the auction ends.

Payment Options:
The card you registered with on HiBid will automatically be charged after the auction ends for your winning lots. We DO NOT accept cash at pickup, your card on file will be charged automatically.

After the auction ends, you will receive an email and text asking about your preference for pick-up or shipping. Winning auctions must be picked up during your scheduled time unless other arrangements are made before the auction ends. Items not picked up within the designated time will be forfeited.

Shipping:
If you need items shipped, you will receive a text and email with an invoice for the shipping cost. Once the invoice is paid, you will receive tracking information within one week of the auction's close.

All Sales Final:
No refunds or credits will be given. All items are sold "as is-where is" with no guarantee or warranty of any kind. Photographs are part of the item description, so please review all information before bidding.

Consequences for Non-Payment:
Unpaid bidders will be reported to HiBid, blacklisted, and barred from participating in any future BC Modern auctions. Negative feedback will also be left on the customer's HiBid account, potentially affecting their ability to bid in other auctions as well.
