2013 Plasser MMU1000 S/N3493 (Mobile Maintenance Unit).

1. The buyer must have insurance for the removal process.

2. The buyer will be solely responsible for removing the asset.

3. No assistance will be provided during removal.

The Mobile Maintenance Unit is a self-propelled and self-sufficient workshop on wheels. Its design allows staff direct access to track from within the train, offering a well-lit, safely enclosed work environment, protected from the effects of weather and trains running on other lines.

The MMU-1000 consists of an MMU power car that provides tractive effort for a three car consist that includes an MMU flat car and work car.

A fully enclosed cab for eight personnel plus one operator is provided.

The MMU power car couples and brakes itself and the two additional cars.

Air pressure for air-powered tools is provided via a stand-alone air compressor. Standard air supply couplers for air tool connections are located at each end of the machine.

AC power is provided by a stand-alone diesel powered generator.

The brake system consists of an independent A-9 control valve and allows the operator

complete control (release and apply capabilities) of the full consist.
