CITY OF GRAND RAPIDS - PUBLIC AUCTION, IMPOUNDED VEHICLES

A public auction of impounded vehicles will be held Monday, August 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Vehicle Storage Facility, 1300 Market Ave SW, Grand Rapids. You must register for a bidder number beginning at 9:00 a.m. NOTE: American with Disabilities Act (ADA) provides for accommodations for all people who require them for attendance at City Auctions. The city invites those persons to make a request prior to sale date, so that necessary accommodations can be made. For further assistance call (616-456-4665). These vehicles may be inspected beginning at 9:00 a.m. Sale Day Only. The sale begins at 10:00 a.m. All vehicles will be sold "AS-IS" with no warranty neither expressed nor implied. Full payment in cash or check shall be made at the time of the sale, otherwise the sale may be forfeited and revert back to the City. OUT OF STATE CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Vehicles shall be removed from the lot immediately after the sale until 11:00 p.m. A storage fee of $55 per day will be charged on all vehicles left in the sale lot after 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, after which time such vehicles shall be deemed abandoned and subject to re-impoundment by the City at the owners expense
