SEE BOTTOM OF LISTING FOR DIRECTIONS, PARKING & PAYMENT INFO Come out and join us in Rome for an incredible four-day estate sale taking place on a 35-acre property. We are starting on Thursday, October 16th with this massive sale. On the outside property there is a couple vehicles - 2016 Ford Edge Sports Racing Edition SUV, 1989 Restored Ford Probe, four-wheeler, zero turn mower, lawn tractor and a farm tractor with assorted attachments. There are also three boats all on trailers that are ready to hook up and take home with you. There is also a two-person paddleboat that is unused. In addition to the boat trailers, there is also a utility trailer and a full-size car hauler. So where are you going to put all of these toys? There are three large carports and a storage building that are for sale as well! Be sure to stop by the outside building that is loaded with tools including a Chicago Electric Welding Machine, Rigid Miter Saw, Ryobi Table Saw, Stanley Tool Chest, Ryobi Bench Grinder, Coleman Generator, multiple assorted power tools and saws from Ryobi, DeWalt, Black & Decker and others. There is also a swivel bench vise, anvil, air compressor, multiple ladders, assorted loose hand tools and toolboxes. For the collector of vintage tools, we have you covered as well. The history of this family includes a professional blacksmith. Great selection of antique and vintage blacksmith tools. Those are just some examples of the many treasures to explore outside.
Heading into the main house, be sure to take in all of the great items that are on the full house wrap around porch including a vintage coca-cola machine, multiple rocking chairs, wood benches, tabletop propane fire pits and an amazing Vermont Castings Encore Wood Burning Stove. Inside the home you will find a great selection of antiques, MCM furniture, major appliances, clothing, vintage holiday décor, silver serving pieces, lamps, framed artwork, vintage vinyl records, vintage toys, electronics, collectibles, everyday kitchen needs, jewelry (costume), cast iron and so much more!
Directions – Once you are on Hwy 156 look for our signs. The GPS will not lead you to the front of the property where the entrance is located. The GPS directions will be off about a half mile. Depending on where you are coming from, this will either be a half mile before or a half mile after the GPS directs you. Again, look for our signs. Parking – The home is located directly off Hwy 156 on a 35 acre lot with a chained fence at the entrance. DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 8AM. There is a shoulder dropoff on both sides of the highway and will be nowhere for you to park and wait. Gates will be opened at 8am to allow for lining up. Payment – Cash or Zelle. There is little to no service at the house for processing card payments. We will try out best, but payments by cash or Zelle are the preferred methods.
