We are honored to have been selected to provide auction services for the family of the late George and Donna Mondik. The Mondik’s were avid collectors of fine furnishings and George was especially proud of his collection of antique “Kentucky” long rifles, his numerous pendulum clocks, and many Don Whitlatch signed and numbered wildlife prints. This online only auction will afford the opportunity for the public to own pieces of this outstanding collection. 

 

5 ANTIQUE LONG RIFLES - TALL CASE CLOCK - WALL & MANTLE CLOCKS - ARTWORK - QUILTS - QUALITY FURNITURE

 

GUNS: Signed Wm. Earnheart, approx. 36 cal. percussion w/36-1/4” octagon barrel, 7 lands, brass engraved patch box & butt plate – 60 cal. Flintlock fowling gun w/42” barrel transitioning from octagon to round, full walnut stock – Percussion rifle w/tiger maple stock, 42” octagon barrel, multiple brass & silver inlays w/engraving, old repair to stock – Percussion rifle, possibly PA, 39” octagon barrel, brass patch box and inlays, full walnut stock – Signed J.S. (attrib. to Jacobus Scout) 60 cal. Flintlock w/full repaired stock, 41-3/4" heavy octagon barrel w/relocated sights, brass butt plate & trigger guard – powder horns & flasks.

 

CLOCKS: “Grandfather” tall case clock, painted face signed “J. Mosley, Peniston” (England), bonnet top w/swan neck broken-arch pediment on round column supports and fluted keystone, brass finials & center eagle, inlaid curly maple door enclosed by fluted quarter columns brass works strikes hour on bell – Regulator wall clock attrib. to Gustav Becker (Ger.), w/mahogany case w/full length glass front, enameled white dial, brass works w/3 weights & large pendulum - Seth Thomas, Clarke Gilbert Co. & Waterbury, Conn. mantle clocks - ornate R-A regulator clocks w/mahogany cases – numerous other weight-driven mantle, wall & regulator clocks – old anniversary clock.
