Hello and welcome to our newest auction.

Before we get too far into what we’re offering, please read the following carefully: We are required to collect sales tax for this auction.  If you have a tax-exempt certificate, we will need to have a copy of it to remove sales tax.   We are glad to remove the sale tax once we have a valid tax-exempt certificate for your business.

Now, on to what we have here.  This auction represents the estate of a lady who loved to travel.  She also liked having nice things.  We have Mackenzie Childs decorative items and furniture, Villeroy and Boch China, Baccarat crystal, Waterford and Lalique.  For the most part, these items are in very good condition.     There’s a gorgeous leather sofa with two reclining seats, the most beautiful server/bakers rack ever, a stunning secretary by Jasper and several exquisite rugs.  We have some purses by Vera Bradley and one Kate Spade.  There are many very fine items in this auction including some artwork.  All items are in our Beaver Falls location.  Pick up will occur there on September 20.  If you can’t attend on September 20, please don’t bid.  You can send someone to claim your items in your place, but we will not be maxing exceptions to our pick is on the day we’ve set rule. 

About shipping, shipping costs are rising.  While we’re doing our best to offer shipping on as many items as possible, it is not cost effective for us to ship bulky items.  We don’t control the cost of shipping or packing materials.  We’re a very small business and therefore we don’t get breaks on our shipping costs.  We can’t and won’t ship whole sets of dishes, and large quantities of glassware.  The costs are too high.  If an item is marked with no shipping, unless we’ve already indicated that we may consider shipping it, we won’t.  We apologize but we can’t continue to package and weigh items only to have the winning bidders complain that shipping is expensive. 

Since the auction is in Beaver Falls, parking is ample.   You don’t need to worry about the parking meters on Saturdays.   We try to have dollies and other moving equipment available, but we do ask that you bring your own packing materials and boxes.  Several of the furniture items are heavy, please bring your own help.  You’ll get in and out quicker than if you have to wait for use to help you move things.   

For those of you who fancy  yourselves pickers, we will try to have a list of things that didn’t sell during the auction.  People have asked in the past, but it’s easier when the items are at our location.

Gorgeous tan leather power reclining sofa.  The sofa has dual recliners.  There are recliner buttons on both sides as well as USB ports.  The recliners are in working order.  This sofa is very comfortable and in very good condition.  Surprisingly, it isn't as heavy as you'd imagine.

Asian inspired fish bowl with stand.  These are often described as planters, and we won't stop you from using it as a planter, but since it has no drainage hole in the bottom, it's a fish bowl.  There are no marks on the bottom to indicate a maker.

Absolutely gorgeous Jasper secretary.  This piece is Asian theme.  The desk portion has a leather top.  The piece is in excellent condition.  It would be a great addition to any office or business.  Imagine this piece stuffed with handmade greeting cards or stationary.  The key is included.  Measures 81 X 35 X 16.

Lot of three art prints.  These were produced by Mouth and Foot Painting Artists, an organization that benefits artists with disabilities.  All of the prints were originally painted by someone who paints with their mouths or feet.

Framed black and whit photo of the Duquesne Incline with the Point in the background.  We're really not certain that the photographer is from Pittsburgh because they titled the photo "Pittsburgh and Tram."   Nobody either of us knows from the area has ever called the incline a tram.  At least the added the "H,"  we're all very possessive of that "H." Framed art print titled Royal Armadillo by Nora C. Butler.  The print is vibrantly colored and the armadillo is quite regal.  I personally love his little hat with the bells on it.  The print is signed and numbered 15/500. With the frame included, the piece measures 22 1/2 X 18.

Lot of three bird theme plates by K&G Luneville France.  Please see photos for chips on the backs of the plates.  Our guess is they were kept in those metal plate holders that hang on the wall thus the chips. The fronts are undamaged.
