Bid online now through Wednesday, September 24th at alderferauction.com. This auction will begin closing at 7 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute.

The sale features notable works by recognized masters including Pablo Picasso prints of "Jacqueline Roque" and "Las Repas Frugal," alongside a Marc Chagall lithograph "Sarah And Abimelech." These blue-chip names anchor the collection with accessible examples of their printmaking work. Maxfield Parrish contributes three classic lithographs including "The Sugar-plum Tree" and "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod," representing his beloved children's book illustrations.

Regional American artists form a significant portion of the sale, led by Pennsylvania painter Nolan P. Benner, Jr. (1922-1998) with multiple oil paintings depicting local landscapes, industrial scenes, and rural farm life. His works span three decades and showcase his evolution from representational to more abstract approaches. Martin Jack Zipin (1920-1991) contributes "Pennsylvania Winter," capturing regional snow scenes with figures navigating the landscape.

The Rogers estate provides works by both Richard Rogers (1903-1967) and Mary Bean Rogers (1904-1997). Richard Rogers' estate includes oils, mixed media, and watercolors spanning abstract compositions to figural works, while Mary Bean Rogers contributes watercolor groupings. These lots offer collectors access to a coherent body of work from related artists.

International representation includes works by Albert Decaris, Antonio Casanova Y Estorach, and Frank Milton Armington, whose drypoint etching "La Pluie, Place de la Concorde, Paris" was printed by the prestigious Chalcographie du Louvre.

Wolfgang Roth provides multiple lots of circus-themed screen prints from 1973, offering collectors the chance to acquire complete series of his theatrical-inspired work.

Contemporary elements appear through Brian Asher artist proofs and various 21st-century prints, bridging historical and modern sensibilities.

Maritime themes appear throughout the collection with multiple ship paintings and nautical scenes, while landscape painting dominates much of the American material. Still life, portraiture, and abstract work provide additional variety across different artistic approaches and periods.

This diverse sale offers accessible collecting opportunities from recognized masters to quality regional artists, combining framed presentation pieces with unframed works for customization.
