REGISTRATION: Registration is two-fold, you will need to create an account with Hibid and then request registration with our specific auction. Upon auction registration, make sure you provide a valid ACTIVE EMAIL ADDRESS as this is the way we will be communicating with you. Please log into your HiBid account and verify that your CREDIT CARD ADDRESS MATCHES YOUR HIBID ACCOUNT AND IS CURRENT as HiBid has fraud prevention measures in place when verfiying your credit card. Do not wait until the auction starts to close to register to bid. There is a verification process that may not be completed in time. Wedel Auction nor HiBid will be held responsible if a potential bidder misses an opportunity to bid.

The owners reserve the right to bid, and Wedel Auction reserves the right to bid on the owner's behalf.

OPEN HOUSE: Open house is at 1170 N River Road, Mulvane, KS on Saturday, November 15th noon-1:30 PM CST.

BUYERS PREMIUM: A 10% buyer's fee will be applied to your invoice total. (Example: if the total for all items purchased is $100.00 the Buyer's Premium applied will be $10.00, your total invoice is $110.00)

SALES TAX: Sales tax will be charged for customers in the state of Kansas at 8.5%. Any bidder that has a CURRENT AND VALID KANSAS TAX EXEMPT CERTIFICATE must email us a copy for our files at least 3 (three) business days (Monday-Friday) PRIOR to bidding in an auction so that we may arrange for tax-exemption status. PAYMENT: Credit Card on file will be charged Wednesday, November 19th at 8:30 AM CST. Contact us BEFORE 8:30 AM if you wish to PAY WITH CASH ON PICK UP DAY (no checks). Purchases over $1,500 must be paid for with bank wire transfer or cash (no checks). We will provide guidance for this process. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card. No checks will be accepted.

SHIPPING: This is a PICKUP only auction, no shipping is available on any lot.

DUE DILIGENCE: Every effort has been made to provide the information, descriptions, and photos that best represent each item in the auction. However, accuracy is not guaranteed and each bidder is responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence concerning items of interest. Come to the Open House!

CHANGES TO AUCTION: To best respond to various circumstances during the auction, changes to specific lots, descriptions, and photos, may become necessary and occur without notice. Lots may be added, combined, or removed without notice.

SOFT CLOSING: At the designated time the auction is set to begin closing, each lot closes in sequential order. If a bid is placed on a lot within 2 minutes of its close two additional minutes will be added. If another bid is placed two more minutes are added until all "dynamic" bids have been placed.

SUCCESSFUL BIDDER: If you are the successful bidder, you are responsible to pay for the lot(s) that you have won at the price of your final bid.

ITEM PICK UP: The auction pickup day is Saturday, November 22th from 12-5 PM CST. You are responsible for the pick-up and removal of all items you have purchased. You will need to present your paid invoice, either electronically or paper, at the time of pick up. There is NO LOAD OUT ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE at this auction. Bring tools, boxes, and strong friends to help load your items. Bidder and his or her agents and employees are responsible for any damage they may cause or liability that may occur from any of their actions on or around the auction premises. Bidder agrees that any merchandise not removed by bidder within 3 days of the pickup date will be forfeited with no refunds IF prior arrangements with the owner are not in place. We will work with you.

TECH ISSUES: In the event of technical issues with the online bidding software, Wedel Auction reserves the right to extend a portion, or the entire auction.

Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Kansas and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in McPherson County, Kansas. Both parties waive any right to a jury trial and hereby agree to a bench trial before a judge.
