Bid online now through Thursday, November 20th at alderferauction.com.  This auction will begin closing at 8 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 3 minutes for each lot once it begins to close.

Highlights include a range of cast metal and iron sculptures, such as figural sculpture of Mr. Punch, figural mantel clock Remington sculpture, and wax and bronze portrait plaques attributed to D. Weaver. Several gingerbread shelf clocks, carriage clocks, and mantel clocks are also represented, along with gilt and marble timepieces in classical and decorative styles.

The auction features an array of framed prints and artworks, including historical portraits, architectural engravings, maps and landscape scenes. Notable examples include a George Washington portrait, historical prints of Boston landmarks, and engraved city views. Several oil paintings on canvas and board appear among the decorative offerings.

Earthenware and glass include vases, decorative urns, cut glass bowls, and vintage pressed glass dishes. Other lots feature women’s accessories, Fiesta Ware, earthenware jugs, and porcelain figurines. Decorative plates and serving sets appear alongside crystal stemware and etched decanters.Offerings include a selection of stained glass lamps, antique sconces, and chandeliers, all featuring materials such as brass, glass, and porcelain.

The catalog extends into smaller home and decorative items, including bookends, candlesticks, wicker planter, as well as baskets, primitives, dolls, Christmas nutcrackers and vintage tree decorations. Textiles, and crocheted table linens add dimension to the selection. Antique and vintage accessories, including assorted mason jars and enamelware, complete the selections.

Additional pieces include bronze and marble busts, decorative tiles, architectural fragments, and metal relief plaques, many depicting classical and allegorical subjects.
