Auction Terms and Conditions
Bidding Guidelines
• Bidders without Permanent Bidding Permission are subject to a per-lot bidding limit. If your bid is marked "PENDING," contact the auctioneer immediately.
• Participation requires a valid credit card registered with HiBid.
• The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid or withdraw any item prior to sale.
• All sales are final; items are sold AS-IS with no guarantees, returns, or rights of refusal.
Buyer's Premium and Taxes
• An 18% Buyer's Premium will be added to the hammer price of each item. This fee is non-refundable.
• Pennsylvania residents must pay a 6% sales tax unless a valid reseller's certificate is provided.
Payment Details
• Payment options: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and wire transfer.
• Credit cards registered with HiBid will be charged at auction conclusion unless prior arrangements for cash or alternate payments are made.
• Wire transfer is required for shipped items totaling $500 or more.
• Title passes only when payment clears; unpaid or declined payments result in item abandonment with no claims to ownership or refunds.
Item Pickup and Shipping
Pickup
• Pickup scheduling is managed via a ShippingSaint.com link sent to winning bidders. At least three pickup dates will be provided, often including a Saturday option.
• Items not paid for or picked up within the designated time will be resold or disposed of, and proceeds retained for storage costs. After the initial pickup period, storage fees of $10/day apply for up to 10 days. Beyond this, items will be deemed abandoned.
Shipping
• Shipping is available for small items only. Large, heavy, or fragile items will not be shipped. All items will be shipped from the Hellertown, 18055 Post Office.
• Shipping fees and details will be communicated via ShippingSaint.com approximately seven days post-auction.
• Items will only be shipped to the address registered with HiBid. Address changes are not accepted unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Buyers rejecting shipping charges or failing to respond to the ShippingSaint notice within three days will forfeit ownership, and the auctioneer retains all proceeds from reselling the item.
Additional Notes
• Furniture is for local pickup only. Buyers must provide their own vehicle, labor, and supplies for moving heavy items.
• Some descriptions may be partially generated using AI; bidders should verify details and attend available previews.
• Items shown in photos with trays or cardboard flats do not include those materials unless specified.
• Technical difficulties may result in auction postponement or extension at the auctioneer's discretion.
Legal Disclaimer
• Reserves may apply to some items; the auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor up to the reserve amount.
• In case of fire, theft, or similar circumstances preventing item delivery, the auctioneer's liability is limited to the sum paid by the purchaser.
• Bids constitute a binding agreement under Pennsylvania law. By bidding, you agree to all terms and conditions stated here.
