Ellingson Brewerania Collection Please Note: We've added removal times for your convenience! Many signed pieces! My name is Mark Ellingson, and I am the owner of this breweriana collection. I began collecting beer memorabilia in 1993 during visits with my grandparents in Appleton, Wisconsin. While there, I visited a converted municipal dam building known as Between the Locks, which housed the Adler Brau Brewery. Adler Brau holds a long and significant place in Appleton’s brewing history as a regional brewery originally produced by the George Walter Brewing Company, a key name in eastern Wisconsin beer heritage. The Adler Brau label was revived in 1989 by John P. Jungers, who reopened it as a modern brewpub while honoring its historical roots. In 2000, a group of friends and I founded The Great Beer Tour, an informal but passionate effort to visit breweries throughout Wisconsin. This endeavor predated the modern craft beer boom and provided a unique opportunity to engage directly with brewers during a formative period in the state’s brewing revival. Through the Great Beer Tour, we were fortunate to form personal relationships with John Jungers and many other notable Wisconsin brewers of that era. As a result, this collection includes several authenticated brewer autographs, obtained personally and directly from the brewers: John Zappa, a long-tenured brewmaster at Stevens Point Brewery, where he served for more than 35 years. We befriended John during his time as brewmaster, and he generously signed numerous items acquired directly from the brewery. He was later succeeded by Gabe Hopkins as brewmaster at Stevens Point. Randy Hughes, brewmaster at the historic G. Heileman Brewing Company in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who continued in that role after the facility transitioned to City Brewery. Randy graciously autographed several items purchased directly from the brewery’s gift shop. I consider myself fortunate to have known and collected from these brewers during a pivotal period in Wisconsin brewing history. The items in this collection reflect not only regional beer heritage but also personal relationships with individuals who helped shape modern Midwestern brewing. Hanging Lighted Signs, Kegs, Posters, Vintage Returnable Cases, Gadgets, Bar related items and more Signs in mint like new condition! You can even brag about owning a signed George Strait hat!
