2026 Pre '30 Tractor School

Tractor School is held on Friday, April 24th, starting at 9AM

Pre '30 Open House: Saturday, April 25th, starting at 9AM- 1PM

Registration Deadline will be March 16th

INCLUDED with All Registrations: Access to Tractor School Classes and Demonstrations;  and a Thresherman’s Lunch Will Be Provided

We'll have many tractors, engines, signs, and memorabilia on display, and we'll be running tractors and engines!

There will be plenty of parking available in our parking lot, with staff to help guide you.

Tractor School is a demonstrative and interactive day of classes, discussions, stories, demonstrations, etc that has been going on for a few years now. Tractor School is held at our main location in our Vintage Power Showroom in Nokomis, IL once a year, during the Spring. Anyone can register and attend, most of the time it is full of avid agricultural / tractor / machine enthusiasts or people wanting to get into the hobby / tractor world more. Topics can range from a lot of different things, for example - last year we had riveting presentations about making parts out of thin air, early tractor transmission designs, restoring the hackney, behind the scenes interviews from tractor hobby legends and more - every year is a bit different in terms of topics. We provide a course manual as well, with a short description of each topic being presented, and some interesting literature from antique tractor books. The objective for tractor school is to simply provide an interesting and educational experience and a fun, unforgettable day for everyone. We provide a fantastic 'Threshermans' lunch for all registries, and always have a different type of giveaway / memorabilia as well.

Tractor School is always held very close to our Pre '30 auction week - which is a week of auctions specifically geared towards early 20th century (Pre 1930's) tractors, vehicles, machinery, literature, parts, etc. The tractor school attendees sort of a get a 'two for one' deal, as we have our Pre '30 open house the day after tractor school as well. Anyone and everyone can attend this and see the incredible items we have selling during Pre '30. This years tractor school is being held on April 24th, starting at 9am. Anyone can register by going on our Pre '30 website - thepre30auction.com . The cost is only $25 a person. Registration does end on March 16th, so attendees will want to register as soon as possible - the first 250 people to register receive the giveaway.
