There is a $20 transfer fee per ammunition lot. If you fail the background check, the transfer fee still applies, and you are still required to make payment and then reconsign the lot to auction. FFL dealers are not exempt from these fees. A background check will be required for all buyers purchasing a firearm and/or ammunition. NYS charges a background check fee for all firearms and ammunition. The fee is $9 for firearms and $2.50 for ammunition. The NYS fee is per background check NOT per lot, will be collected directly by Civil Armory, and is in addition to any transfer fees. Payment must be completed by Wednesday, March 4 by 1PM. Pickup is by appointment only for all items. Pickup for hand/long guns, ammunition & black powder starts on Thursday, March 5 & background check process must begin by Saturday, March 14.
