Inspection: Most items are located at Heritage, 6877 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173 (offsite items will be noted in the description). General Inspection is Mon 12noon-6pm, Tues-Thurs 9am-6pm, Fri 9am-3pm. Firearm Inspection is Thurs Mar 5th 10am-3pm ONLY. You are advised to inspect items BEFORE bidding. We do our best to describe and photograph items, but we are by no means perfect and may miss something that is important to you. If the item was tested, it will say so in the description - time does not allow for testing of most items. All Sales Are Final With No Refunds/Returns/Exchanges.

Area sales tax collected (Alabama State, Jefferson County) - 2.75% on vehicles/boats/equipment, 6% on all else. Dealers present your resale certificate to avoid sales tax. All times stated are Central. Bid retraction will result in suspension of bidding privileges. No international bidders accepted without prior approval from Heritage.
Removal: Buyers are responsible for removal of purchases from auction site. Buyers must provide their own moving equipment and personnel. Appointments are recommended for pickup and are available 9am-6pm Wed-Thurs Mar 11th-12th & 9am-3pm Fri Mar 13th. NO ALTERNATIVE DATES/TIMES are available. If you do not have an appointment, the facility may not be open. Most items are located at and must be piced up from, Heritage, 6877 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173 (all offsite items will be noted in the description). All items must be paid for at Heritage, 6877 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173. Each item left past this deadline will be assessed a $10/day late pickup fee and after 10days will be considered abandoned and may be immediately resold with no notice or credit given to you. You must present a printed copy of your PAID receipt to pick up items (PAID receipt available at front office). Forklift driver is available. The link to sign up for a pickup date/time will be sent after the auction is completely over. If you miss your pickup appointment, your credit card on file will be charged. If you have not scheduled a pickup appointment in the online scheduler by 12noon Fri Mar 13th, your credit card on file will be charged.
Forms of Payment for this Auction: All items must be paid for at Heritage, 6877 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173. (A) CASH or CERTIFIED FUNDS, due by 3pm Fri Mar 13th, otherwise your credit card on file will be charged. (B) VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS due by 3pm Mar 13th. Card must be present and in users name. Bidder waives their right to initiate a charge-back on their credit card for any reason. Credit cards are not accepted in the case of purchases of $1000 or more that are to be shipped, on gold in any amount , or on items that are to be titled outside of Alabama - wire transfers or cash are the preferred method of payment in these instances. (C) WIRE TRANSFER, due by 3pm Fri Mar 13th, otherwise your credit card on file will be charged. Keep in mind that most bank's wire departments are not open on the weekend/holidays and it usually takes 24hrs for a wire to be completed. (D) PERSONAL/COMPANY CHECK, NOT ACCEPTED. (E) If you miss your pickup appointment, your credit card on file will be charged regardless of your preferred payment method. (E) All payments accepted after the removal deadlines must be in the form of cash or wire transfer. (F) If you miss your pickup appointment, your credit card on file will be charged regardless of your preferred payment method. (G) If you have not scheduled a pickup appointment in the online scheduler by 12noon Fri Mar 13th, your credit card on file will be charged. (H) If you are outside of AL, we will assume you will need shipping and may charge your credit card on file at the end of the auction.
ONLINE Buyer's Premium & Convenience Fee: For all ONLINE bidders, a 10% buyer's premium (auction fee) will be added to all items, with an additional 3.5% convenience fee for use of credit/debit card.
Titled Vehicles: There is a $25 Doc Fee for all titled vehicles (lot descriptions indicate if titled). Your title application will be mailed to you within 10 business days, unless otherwise stated in the item's description. If you are a dealer or an out-of-state purchaser, your title will be mailed to you within 10 business days, unless otherwise stated in the item's description.
Firearms/Firearms Shipping: Buyers are responsible for knowing the rules and regulations of the state in which they live pertaining to the ownership of firearms. ALL SALES ARE FINAL! If a firearm is purchased and the background check is deny or the firearm cannot be shipped to the buyer's state, the buyer is still responsible for payment of said firearm and the firearm will be sold at our next scheduled firearm auction under normal contract terms. Descriptions are based on a visual inspection of the item. We have made no examination of any internal mechanical workings or firing mechanisms. You should have your firearms inspected and serviced by a qualified gunsmith. Firearms must be pickup up in person (pistol/revolver pickup available only to AL residents) or shipped to the FFL Licensee of the buyer's choice. All shipping and insurance will be charged to the buyer and will be at the carrier's published rates plus up to $5 per box (up to $9 per long gun box) for packing supplies. No firearm will be shipped until a signed copy of the appropriate FFL license is emailed or faxed to Heritage Realty & Auction Co Inc. Some states will not allow you to own certain firearms so please check with your state to see which firearms or firearms features are not allowed BEFORE bidding.
Ammo/Powder/Primer: PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING AMMUNITION THAT IT IS HEAVY AND THAT THE SHIPPING MAY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE. Shipping for ammo/powder/primer is only available through UPS/FedEx. AK and HI will not allow us to ship ammo/powder/primers.
Shipping: *** NOTES ON FREIGHT SHIPPING: You may arrange for your own freight shipping and we will coordinate with them. If your item requires a pallet, you will be charged for the cost of the pallet. Pallets and double pallets costs are quoted as needed. *** NOTES ON PRIVATE CARRIER SHIPPING: No shipping offered by Heritage for any items which are required to be shipped by private carrier. If you wish to directly arrange for your own shipping on these type items, we will be glad to coordinate with your shipper.
