Any precious metal purchases of $300 or more must be made in cash or wire transfer only .


1. At the discretion of Doolittle Auctions, any invoice may be required to be paid by cash, postal money order, cashier’s check or wire transfer following the close of the auction.
2. Doolittle Auctions reserves the right to decline any bidder for any reason deemed appropriate.
3. At the discretion of Doolittle Auctions, a copy of the buyer's photo ID may be required.
4. Returned (bounced) checks will incur a $25 charge.
5. All sales are final. There will be no refunds, chargebacks, replacements or exchanges.
6. Non-Paying bidders will receive a negative rating and will be blocked from bidding in all future auctions.
7. Bidders must be aware of their tax liabilities prior to bidding. All purchases in Pa will be subject to 6.00% sales tax, unless the purchaser has a PA Sales Tax Exemption Number. Exemption numbers from other states are not valid in PA.
8. There is a 18% buyer’s premium in effect for this auction.
9. No Items are to be removed from the auction premises until they are paid for in full.
10. The condition report is merely intended as guidance in assessing the condition of an item or lot. The condition report does not amount to a full description of condition, and may not accurately describe all faults, repairs, restorations or missing elements of an item or lot. All photographs associated with an item or lot are to be considered a part of the condition report. Defects reflected in the photographs may not be reflected in the item or lot’s written condition report, and vice versa. The size, shape, shade, color or tone of an item or lot may be distorted by its respective photographs. While certain imperfections of the item or lot may be noted in the condition report, the item or lot may have other faults not referred to in the written condition report or reflected in its respective photographs. For the aforementioned reasons, the condition report (written or photographed) may NOT be taken as an alternative to making your own inspection of an item or lot or seeking counsel with a qualified professional.
11. All items are sold in "as-is" condition with all faults, no warranty implied or intended.
12. Bidders are responsible for previewing items in order to make independent judgments on age, condition, and authenticity, or having an agent do so on their behalf.
13. Written and oral descriptions are the opinions of Doolittle Auctions and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of authenticity, age, condition, materials or any other feature of items being sold.
14. All measurements & counts are approximations; bidders are encouraged to make their own assessments.
15. Buyer assumes responsibility to make arrangements with Doolittle Auctions to pick up their item. If items are not picked up within 3 days of the close of the auction and alternate arrangements are not made, we reserve the right to consider these items abandoned property. They will be resold or otherwise disposed of without further notice.
16. Doolittle Auctions is not responsible for damage incurred to property that has not been picked up within 3 days of auction closing.
17. Doolittle Auctions will not ship to an address not listed on the buyer's HiBid account.
18. Doolittle Auctions refuses to ship [or arrange for the shipping of] box lot items, as explicitly stated within the listing descriptions.
19. Doolittle Auctions does not provide in-house shipping for any reason. Everything will be delivered to a third after paid in full to (THE UPS STORE CLARKS SUMMIT) Bidder assumes responsibility to inquire about shipping PRIOR to bidding.

20. Doolittle auctions require explicit written consent if you do not wish to have your entire purchase shipped.
21. When applicable, the buyer is responsible for paying true shipping expenses in addition to handling fees- which may vary depending on size and fragility of the item.
22. It is the bidder's responsibility to request shipping quotes prior to bidding on an item. Bids will not be retracted due to shipping expenses.
23. In the event of loss or damage during shipment, a claim must be filed against the shipping insurance in order for the buyer to receive a refund.
24. Claims made against shipping insurance may take 10 to 14 days to be processed after the shipping company has been contacted.
25: Doolittle Auctions holds no liability for market value reimbursement for items lost or damaged in shipping. Refunds will be issued based on the amount paid.
26 In the event that partial damage is incurred to your purchase during shipment [ I.E. 4 out of 8 pieces in the lot you purchased were damaged] your refund will be proportionate to the total amount paid for the lot. You will not be refunded market value for each piece.
27. Doolittle Auction holds no liability for HiBid technical difficulties that take place during auction closing, and reserves the right to reopen bidding on affected lots at a later date.
28. A bid entered by mistake is NOT grounds for a cancellation of the bid. Every bidder is responsible for his or her account and bids. Allowing access to another individual who enters bid(s) [with or without your knowledge] will NOT be grounds for rescission of the bid(s). ANY bid made on your account will bind you to the bid in accordance with these terms.
29. Sales tax shall be applied to the TOTAL sales price, which includes hammer price + 18% buyer’s premium.
30. ALL SALES FINAL A BID IS A CONTRACT.
