A 10% buyer’s premium will apply to all purchases. There will be a $20.00 transfer fee per firearm. IA sales tax will apply to all purchases unless being shipped out of state.  Then the sales tax will be collected by the FFL to which the firearm is being shipped to. If you are a dealer and are sales tax exempt, you will need to fill out the tax except form.

 Buyers, it is your responsibility to know your state laws on what firearms can be possessed in your state. No international shipping.  No shipping outside the continental US.  No shipping on ammo.  All firearms need to be shipped to an FFL in your state.  If shipping out of Iowa the FFL that the firearm is shipped to will be responsible for collecting sales tax.

Local "Iowa" residence pickup only: Please bring your permit if you have one, and everyone must have a valid picture ID that matches the registered bidder to pick up your firearm.  All firearms will be recorded on ATF form 4473.  If purchasing 2 or more handguns, ATF form 3310.4 will be filled out and reported to the ATF and local law enforcement. 

 Everything is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS".  This entire auction is inventory from a local dealer. 

A majority of the firearms are new and in the original boxes.  All boxes have been opened.  Auction company makes no guarantees on the condition of any items.  Firearms are not warranted for shooting, operational capabilities, or completeness.  Buyers are more than welcome to call or email the auction company with specific questions, 319-435-2302/hogeauctioneering@gmail.com.  Please take advantage of the viewing date to come and inspect items in person. You can not show up on a nonscheduled view day to look at firearms.

Hoge Auctioneering LLC is a current FFL license holder and will comply with all laws enforced by the ATF.  Know the laws of the state you reside in.  If you reside in a state other than Iowa, make sure you have a local FFL license holder who is willing and able to accept and transfer your purchased firearms to you and collect the sales tax.

Shipping: All firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer in the state where you reside.  Shipping is only offered for the continental US.  No shipping on any ammunition.  The licensed FFL dealer you request your firearms to be shipped to must email a copy of their signed license and include your name and the lot numbers of the firearms purchased.   Email to hogeauctioneering@gmail.com.  Hoge Auctioneering will not hold firearms for future auctions. Again, NO SHIPPING outside of the continental United States. We do not have an export license.

All shipping will be done through UPS  and costs include a handling fee of $10.00 on the 1st lot and $2.50 on each additional lot, plus shipping cost. 

If you are an out-of-state buyer (meaning you do not reside in Iowa) your firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL.  No in-person pickup for out-of-state (IA) purchasers. 

No straw purchases, meaning you cannot purchase a firearm for someone else.  The firearm purchased must be transferred to the person who is registered for the auction.  It is illegal to purchase firearms for a person who is not legally able to possess a firearm

Descriptions and pictures of each firearm should be used as reference only.  If you have any further specific questions please call, email, or utilize the "in person" viewing.  Questions must be asked 3 days prior to the end of the auction and during business hours.  Be sure to ask questions before bidding, retracting bids is not allowed.  Make sure you understand the shipping terms and costs involved before placing bids.  Accuracy of catalog & other descriptions is not guaranteed.  Hoge Auctioneering LLC reserves the right to edit, add, or remove lots after the auction is live.

All guarantees are between the buyer & seller. Each item & lot sells in an "As Is" condition. Nothing will be released until full payment is received.  You must pay in the allotted time.

Not responsible in case of accidents on premises. Iowa sales tax applies to qualifying purchases made.

All buyers hereby certify that they have read, and fully understand the terms and conditions listed, and they agree to be bound thereby. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand all the terms and conditions prior to submitting any/all bids.
Max bidding: When you bid your max, the current bid price does not automatically go to your max bid. Someone else must bid to increase the current price and the computer will automatically bid up to your max in the increments specified. If 2 people bid the same max bid on the same item, the 1st person to place the bid will be the winning bidder.  

Payment: If you are an Iowa resident and are picking up your purchases in person, you may pay at pick up via cash, or check. If your invoice does not exceed $1,500.00 you can use a credit /debit card for an additional 4% fee. For out of state residence, you must pay via wire transfer w/fee or ACH (no fee). If your invoice does not exceed $1,500.00 you may also pay w/credit or debit card w/additional 4% charge. Shipping fees will be calculated separately after payment is received for your purchases. Shipping fees can be paid by credit card.

UPS charge will be on a separate charge on the credit card used to register.

Information on items is obtained by us from the sellers, and you hereby agree to hold harmless Hoge Auctioneering LLC & its staff for any errors or omissions regarding the items being sold.
By bidding on an item, you have agreed to accept that item in its present condition and its present location with the description provided, whether accurate or not.
When using online auction services, you are making a firm commitment to purchasing items into a legal binding contract. Bids may not be cancelled or retracted for any reason. Nonpaying bidders or fraudulent bidding will subject you to legal recourse. Handguns must leave with a lock. You can bring your own or purchase from the auction company for $5.00. Many of the handguns have locks in the case.
