Buyer's Premium
A 15% buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of all lots. The buyer's premium is included in the final invoice total.
Payment
Payment in full is due within two business days of auction close — by end of business Wednesday, April 30, 2026. Accepted payment methods:
Cash — a 3% discount is applied to the total invoice when payment is made in cash
Local check made payable to Burgess Auctions LLC
Major credit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
Bank wire transfer, cash, or certified funds required on all invoices totaling $1,500 or more. Out-of-state buyers with invoices totaling $1,500 or more will receive wiring instructions directly from Burgess Auctions LLC following auction close.
Burgess Auctions LLC reserves the right to cancel the sale and re-offer any lot if payment is not received within the required timeframe. Winning bidders who fail to pay may be reported to the bidding platform and barred from future auctions.
Pickup
Local bidders must collect their purchases during the following scheduled pickup windows:
Monday, April 28, 2026 · 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday, April 29, 2026 · 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Items not collected by the close of the final pickup window on Tuesday, April 29 at 5:00 PM will be subject to a storage fee of $5.00 per lot per day. Burgess Auctions LLC assumes no liability for items not collected within 30 days of auction close.
Shipping
Shipping is available on all lots in this auction. Burgess Auctions LLC ships in-house using multiple carriers selected based on the size, weight, and declared value of each shipment.
Shipping Arrangements

Shipping Quotes
All shipments are quoted individually based on destination, package dimensions, weight, and declared value. Quotes will be provided within two business days of your shipping request. Shipping costs, including packaging materials and insurance, will be added to your invoice and must be paid prior to dispatch.
Insurance
All shipments are fully insured at declared value at no additional cost to the buyer. Insurance is included automatically in every shipping quote. In the event of loss or damage in transit, buyers must notify Burgess Auctions LLC immediately upon receipt and retain all original packaging materials for carrier claims.
Domestic & International Shipping
Burgess Auctions LLC ships domestically within the United States and internationally. International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, and applicable fees assessed by their country of destination. Burgess Auctions LLC is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing. International shipping quotes reflect carrier rates and insurance only — customs and import costs are not included.
Carrier Selection
Carrier is selected at Burgess Auctions LLC's discretion based on the nature and value of the shipment. High-value jewelry and watch lots will be shipped via carriers offering signature confirmation and declared value coverage appropriate to the item.
Shipping Timeline
Items will be packed and dispatched within five business days of payment confirmation and shipping arrangement completion. Buyers will receive tracking information via email upon dispatch.
Unclaimed Items
Any winning bidder who neither arranges pickup nor initiates a shipping request by end of business Friday, May 2, 2026 will be contacted by Burgess Auctions LLC. Items remaining unclaimed after 30 days of auction close may be considered abandoned and may be resold at Burgess Auctions LLC's discretion, with no refund or credit issued to the original buyer.
Condition & Descriptions
All items are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Descriptions are believed to be accurate and have been prepared in good faith in conjunction with Robert J. Brown Appraisal Services. However, all measurements, weights, stone counts, and condition statements are approximate.
Condition statements provided in lot descriptions reflect the opinion of Burgess Auctions LLC staff and are not a guarantee of condition. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that an item is free from defects. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items in person during the preview on Friday, April 24 from 1:00–5:00 PM.

In-person preview is available Friday, April 24, 2026 from 1:00–5:00 PM at 45 W. Carey Street, Knightstown, Indiana 46148. Online catalog preview is available at bids.burgessauctions.com/auctions/45769. Bidders are strongly encouraged to preview items prior to bidding.
All Sales Final
All sales are final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted for any reason. By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges and accepts these terms in full.
Bidder Registration
Registration to bid constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions. Burgess Auctions LLC reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel bids at its sole discretion.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute between bidders, Burgess Auctions LLC's determination shall be final. Burgess Auctions LLC reserves the right to withdraw any lot before the fall of the hammer.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes arising from this auction shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Henry County, Indiana.
