Registration: To bid you will need to register and create a username and password. Do not wait until the auction starts to close to register to bid. There is a verification process that may not be completed in time. Wedel Auction nor HiBid will be held responsible if a potential bidder misses an opportunity to bid. Registration is available 24-7. Please make sure you provide a valid active email address and credit card.

Open House is Friday, May 8, 4:00-7:00 PM at 1451 Dakota Road, McPherson, KS 67460. Look for Wedel Auction signs day of Open House.

Buyers Premium: A 10% buyer's fee will be applied to your invoice total. (Example: if the total for all items purchased is $100.00 the Buyer's Premium applied will be $10.00, your total invoice is $110.00)

There will be a $25.00 title processing fee applied for vehicle titles. The title will be mailed to the buyer via certified mail no sooner than 14 days after receipt of payment, regardless of payment type. The only acceptable payment type on titled vehicles is bank wire transfer or cash (no checks) at pick up. Payment: Credit Card on file will be charged Wednesday, May 13th. Contact us BEFORE 8:30 a.m. if you wish to pay with cash on pick up day (no checks) or a different credit card. Purchases over $2,500 must be paid for with bank wire transfer or cash (no checks). We will provide guidance for this process. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card. No checks will be accepted. The only acceptable payment type on titled vehicles is bank wire transfer or cash (no checks) at pick up, regardless of price.

Due Diligence: Every effort has been made to provide the information, descriptions, and photos that best represent each item in the auction. However, accuracy is not guaranteed and each bidder is responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence concerning items of interest. Come to the Open House! The owners reserve the right to bid, and Wedel Auction reserves the right to bid on the owner's behalf.

Changes to the Auction: To best respond to various circumstances during the auction, changes to specific lots, descriptions, and photos, may become necessary and occur without notice. Lots may be added, combined, or removed without notice.

Soft Closing: At the designated time the auction is set to begin closing, each lot closes in sequential order. If a bid is placed on a lot within 2 minutes of its close two additional minutes will be added. If another bid is placed two more minutes are added until all "dynamic" bids have been placed.

Successful Bidder: If you are the successful bidder, you are responsible to pay for the lot(s) that you have won at the price of your final bid.

Item Pick Up: The auction pickup day is Friday, May 15 from 9 AM-7 PM and Saturday, May 16 from 9AM-Noon. You are responsible for the pick-up and removal of all items you have purchased. You will need to present your paid invoice, either electronically or paper, at the time of pick up. The auction company can provide very little to remove, load, or transport items. We will, however, have a 50 hp tractor and loader available pick up day. A release form will need to be signed to access this service. Bidder and his or her agents and employees are responsible for any damage they may cause or liability that may occur from any of their actions on or around the auction premises. Bidder agrees that any merchandise without previous arrangements will be forfeited 3 days after pick up day. Extra time will be given for vehicles, large items, and scrap iron. Weather permitting all should be removed in 30 days. Do not tear up the pasture. All items with a lot number 700 and above are located across the pasture. Wedel Auction will work to meet your shipper if you are having a vehicle shipped, but you are responsible for finding a shipper that can load the item. SHIPPING: Shipping is a $5.00 handling per invoice and the actual USPS or UPS cost. HOWEVER, if your order is 5 boxes or more, you will incur an additional charge to cover the cost of the packaging. We will do our best to consolidate all your items during the shipping process. If you want your items shipped, please simply reply to your initial invoice email upon auction closing or contact us at troywedelauction@gmail.com or call 620-242-6999. Additionally, we will ship your items if you requested shipping upon auction registration. If we do not hear from you, we will be expecting you on pick up day.

It is the buyer�s responsibility to ensure the shipping address and payment information on their Hibid account is current and correct. We will only ship to the address associated with your Hibid and payment account for fraud prevention purposes. If you know your billing and shipping addresses do not match and you still wish to bid, please contact us BEFORE BIDDING, so we can discuss possible payment arrangements.

Technical Issues: In the event of technical issues with the online bidding software, Wedel Auction reserves the right to extend a portion, or the entire auction.

Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Kansas and hereby grants
sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in McPherson County, Kansas. Both parties waive any right to a jury trial and hereby agree to a bench trial before a judge.

This online only auction for Jackie Ferguson, rural McPherson, KS. It features antique autos, quality machinist tools, small farm and garden equipment, and loads of iron; both scrap and structural. Her late husband Norlan liked to build things, he served as a machinist in the Navy, his craft grew to become Ferguson Production in McPherson. Large lathes, milling machines with supporting equipment and supplies, precision measuring devices, and other tools both a machinist and/or a mechanic will find useful can be found here.
