Transfer fee is $25 per gun (Cash or Check Only). There is an additional $20 processing fee (going up in July to $37) charged by the State of Washington per buyer/transaction (covers sales tax). (Multiple firearms can be transferred on one background check fee when firearms purchased by a single buyer are on hand at start of background check). All firearms have a ten-business-day waiting period. This does not include the day the paperwork is started. Shipping may be possible to your FFL (with the exception to California).
