With heavy heart’s we will sell the collection of our dear friend Lucy Hosterman, Sandy & I met Lucy in 1990 when we purchased our 1820’s Brick home from Charlie & Lucy and the friendship began, over the years we stayed in touch, in person & by phone, our conversations began with catching up, what Sandy has done to the house & would almost always end discussing antiques, our collections & on occasion what would happen to our collections once we were gone, Lucy last visited us here at the house in March of 2025, she was excited to once again lay her hand on the carved heart at the end of the staircase bannister that Joseph Black carved over 200 years ago after his wife passed while the home was being built, I find it fitting that her collection is being sold at one of the many wonderful homes Lucy, her family & her wonderful collection called home
